Normally the Donna Challenge for February is about using eyelets or brads, since the last February Donna was with us she mentioned wanting to use the eyelets and brads in her stash.
This month, there is a twist. Since February is all about love, and Valentine's day, the challenge to use eyelets, brads, or other stash embellishments to make a heart on your page. In fact, if your embellie is heart shaped, you get double points! So if you do not have eyelets or brads, use enamel dots, sequins, gems, whatever you have to use on the page you create.
Now there is no limit to the size or amount of hearts you make. You get one point for EACH item you use to make it. So if your heart shape uses 30 gems to make a heart shape, you get 30 points!
As always with the Donna Challenge, one point for every photo you scrap, since Donna really wanted to get her photos scrapped.

AWESOME challenge!!! Was already thinking of how to incorporate a big heart in my February calendar page. Was thinking of using a pp collage, or a Silhouette divided heart shaped frame, or... But eyelets, and brads, and dots, oh MY! For a point a piece, plus a bonus? This is going to be so much FUN!

Here ya go, myboysnme! As close as I can count: 12 eyelets, 64 brads, 8 dots in my burlap heart. I used the burlap so its weave would hold the whole thing together what with all the holes! Art love by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

That is a perfect interpretation of the challenge. I love it! Please share it on the SB sharing thread!

Thanks, myboysnme. I think the heart would prob have stood out more on white or off white canvas. But the only weave I had close to my fingertips was the burlap. Most of the brads go through the pp as well, but the cloth holds it all together. I glued a piece of cs to the back to cover up the metal legs.
