I have been working on lots of crafty things lately. I making photo cards for family/friends, starting a new painting, finished my Valentine's tag books and planning for upcoming YT videos. I am really enjoying seeing everyone's creativity, too. Made two three cards yesterday and one Friday to go w/my 2021 intentions: Your cards are gorgeous!!!! Great job and I hope you continue to have fun making them.

I finished this weeks planner pages. I can’t going to post pictures right now. I used mostly stencils for decoration.

I have had ZERO motivation to scrap recently. Losing my craft room due to our move in November has seriously impacted my motivation. Ugh.

This past week I hit my goal of 50 layouts no spending.
Yay.
So, now I can spend.
And I was perusing online, and just got completely overwhelmed. Couldn't find even a sheet of paper I like. Got pissed off trying to determine if I would like a sheet of paper by the image on the screen, which gives me no idea how it will feel in my hand, or if the colors will be true.
I really, really miss being able to shop in a LSS.
So....
Gave up even looking, for now.
Put away last three finished layouts.
Oh, and I'm still waiting for January pic order to arrive. It was supposed to be delivered by the 12th. And was processed & shipped in plenty of time. This delay is all on the USPS.

I used to scrap out of 2 closets and it seriously dampened my creativity. It was a job getting stuff out then putting it away after. The only way I got anything done during that time was a ) deadlines b ) making page kits so I could just grab the kit out of the closet and get to work and put it all back in the envelope if something came up and I had to stop. I sympathize with you whole heartedly on that issue.

I made a big (ish) home item purchase, and now I'm doing round two of 50 Layouts No Spend Challenge.
I'm really hoping my photo order shows up today.
I keep seeing the Dollar Tree dies on YouTube & Instagram, and it makes me really want to find them. I saw a post with nested hearts! I want that! I think I also saw posts about stamps, and I'm intrigued, but not as interested, because stamps are so fiddly, and bad quality almost always gives a poor image.

I have a fun page to make for my grandchildren.
I am going to take a map of the US and track their travel for a hockey tournament in Nashville over the weekend. They originally had a connection in Dallas, so ended up stranded in Nashville. DS went to extreme lengths to get them home today.
Billings to Bozeman to Dallas to Nashville (return flight canceled) drove to Huntsville, AL (flight canceled), back to Nashville (flight canceled), to Charlotte, NC to Phoenix to Billings.
Tip I wish I had told him - never give up your rental car when you are stranded, even if you are staying one mile from the airport. Keep the rental until you are going to the airport. He returned his rental when they returned to Nashville. When his flight was canceled again, there were no rental cars available and the soonest he could get a new flight out was Friday. This was Tuesday. He ended up reserving a cargo van from Budget to drive to Charlotte where there was a flight they could get on. He got lucky and they had some cars there by then. He's a good schmoozer and talked his way into one. I traveled enough for work to know that having a car gives you more options.

I have had ZERO motivation to scrap recently. Losing my craft room due to our move in November has seriously impacted my motivation. Ugh. Without your room, where will you craft now? I used to scrap in my dining room. I had a large cabinet to hide most of my supplies in, and I kept a huge quilting mat to protect the table behind my china hutch. Could you get excited about organizing your new space? Maybe your motivation for crafting will come back

Despite having a long weekend , last weekend. I decided on Monday to empty out all the accumulated stuff in my scraproom into my living room. So smart of me. I vacuumed everything did some furniture rearranging. And started to put stuff away. DH is good with the mess in living room but we bought new furniture a couple of nights ago and delivery guys are coming. So this weekend I need to get it done. My room is so clean right now. I need to deal with my shelves in there , and the stuff still on there. So much to do. I wish the paper fairies would just come and make it pretty while I sleep

Nothing much to report.
Photo delivery is now a week+ late, which is on par for most of our mail delivery. I was really hoping to get itbthis week to scrap on my day off.

It’s not ideal but will be this way until my oldest goes off to college in a few years. I miss my craft space.

Is anyone else planning to do a scrapbook page about it being 1 year since we started lockdowns and staying home?
We have been at home since March 10, 2020. I never dreamed it would be a year!

I STILL haven't received my January Snapfish order. USPS has been so slow, but this is going on 3 weeks late, and I feel very frustrated. Having new photos to scrap is one of my only joys during this pandemic. And Snapfish shipped them right on schedule. They should have arrived. They are (supposedly) in a sorting facility a couple miles from my home. And have been sitting there for almost two solid weeks.
I still haven't even started round two of 50 Layouts No Spend Challenge. I've been sharing my space with a adult child, and the room is much less my scrap space now, and my time in there is limited and not always convenient. It's hurt my mojo.
In other news, have you heard of jeans being marketed as "anti viral"? I have tags from a pair, and am going to use it in my Pandemic Album.
