I have some cards to share! These are mostly cards that were in my donation box waiting for a sentiment. I'm finishing them up for a senior card drive (details posted in the stickied card drive thread on the card board). I've been trying to use up this weird Tonic pebbled silver paper for ages, like years. I'm not sure this is the best use of it, but I'd rather use it than keep it or toss it. The flowers were a cling stamp from Hero Arts I won in a recent giveaway and colored for my 100 day project. I think this stamp is going to be very useful! Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These were leftover pieces from other projects and an upcycled thank you card (the bee) Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I bought this lovely gold floral paper and then discovered it was thin and not as useful as I imagined. It took me years to find a good use for it but I really like these cards. Simple but shiny and cheerful. The cardstock was inherited from my stepMIL when she died. I'm still using up her stash 2 years later. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These are mostly made from the scraps I get from cutting a 12x12 sheet into 6 card fronts. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I didn't love the shade of pink cs so I used some distress ink to add a better shade (after I die cut the hello). I think I came out quite nicely on this one. I should do that more often. I have plenty of ink. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr I'm going to try to get some digital pages done this afternoon. We have 9"+ of snow outside which is a rare treat. I got outside and took photos with/of the full figured snow ladies in the park so those can go straight into the memory book!

joblackford - those are are LOT of beautiful card designs! I even have that "hello" die...obviously should be using it I got a layout done start to finish today in the pea crop which is really good for me. Especially since it started with an "idea" based on a 28-4-28 challenge (glue scraps to a background then cut out a shape) and I wasn't sure I could pull it off! But I love it 50943469978_993338f1b2_o by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I went to an overnight crop. I spent from 9 am to 11 pm scrapping by myself and got 29 pages done. I got back to the crop room this morning at 9 am and by 3 pm I was just staring incoherently and decided I was ready to pack up. Today I only got 6 pages or so done. Some ladies at adjacent tables got very chatty with me and I succumbed to conversing instead of putting my nose to the grindstone. At many crops historically people have seen me as unfriendly because I do not go to socialize. A bit of friendly chit chat and then get to work. I have been trying to be more friendly and conversant. But quite honestly, it impacts my productivity. It's a bit of a catch 22 because I only crop at crops but most people would think they would stay home if they don't care to socialize. A real dilemma! Then getting that many pages done would thrill many but I feel like it is a minor dent in what I would like to accomplish! So many pictures, so little time is the old saying, right? This layout is interesting because I made a 2 page layout from using both sides of a single piece of pp. Fortunately the kayak on the back of the paper was placed just outside of the area of the kayak on the front. So I did some fussy cutting and paper piecing of the scraps to work both sides' images into the 2 pages. There are a lot of photos that cover all the piecing. I like the way it came out.

This morning I photographed 5 layouts. I've never gotten that far behind before, but the chore of photo editing for costco was the priority. One of the layouts is for 28-4-28 so I'm not sharing that one yet, but here are the other 4! love the pond and these happy days by kirstendrew, on Flickr music to my ears by kirstendrew, on Flickr **this one is for gramma. She sent me all those lovely hand-made die cuts/title!!! I think it's my favourite die. dog daze by kirstendrew, on Flickr I spent Friday night (til 1:30 am!) and Saturday evening editing and putting in my last 2 orders for pickup. Sad trip to Costco today

Back to the bottom of page TWO: Linda , your pages are beautiful. I love all the greens, and the flowers and butterflies. So glad you got a little time to play!
And on this page:
myboysnme, that kayaking page is wonderful. That woodgrain is the perfect outdoorsy backdrop and the blue really helps your photos pop. Looks like a wonderful summer adventure.
Your planner pages are lookin' good, as usual, hop2! Love the hearts with the snowflakes for Valentines' week. And I think your weather stickers are getting a good workout lately.
joblackford I will head over to the Gallery and take a closer look at your cards.

First time popping in here for the month, I’ve been sharing my LO in the 28-4-28 threads. This one didn’t fit any of those challenges so I’m sharing it here. 😃 I struggle to use papers with big designs on them, but I’m happy with how this turned out.

I made some cards using leftover owls (bought ages ago from Michaels) and paper I had stashed. These are for the Cards for Cubs card drive for foster kids (details are in the card donation thread on the card board, starts March 1st). I ink blended bits of the sentiment die cuts again so I could use cardstock that didn't match as well as I would've liked. Feb share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

This thread is always so inspiring! Thank you all for sharing! 950nancy what great photos and page design, awesome spread! myboysnme what adorable pictures! I love that title and the colors. hop2 This is so cool and inspiring! I have a neglected planner, I’m enjoying seeing how you put yours to work as a memory planner. vexedangel your card is just gorgeous! I love that glittery front and the navy unicorn. Great snow pics! I really like those colors and the journaling along the mat. I love SG kits and have a lot of them. Linda Those are great cards! And I love that pretty butterfly paper on your layout. It’s amazing to me that you continue to scrap during a move! myboysnme I love those colors, they are perfect for kayaking. Great LO! I am not very social, and thought I preferred working at home by myself, but since doing the virtual crops I’ve found I would rather scrap with others. Our crops here get very quiet at times, but it’s companionable, not awkward and has been the only way I get any scrapping done now. I totally relate to what you are saying. Great job on 29 LOs!! I sometimes don’t get that many done in a year. schroema you did great with that big design! I love the way each photo is in it’s own frame. I struggle with the big designs too, but you did a great job with it! There is love in the gallery for those that post there!

Made a birthday card for my dgs who will be 8 years old on Sunday. ninja front by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Channeling azcrafty, using eyelets and a cord to provide a moving element. Don't know how to do a slideshow or video & save it in Flickr, so here are two shots of the inside of the card. When I close it, and hopefully when he opens it, this will be his view: ninja inside 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Then as he holds it upright to look at it, hopefully this will happen: ninja inside 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Never feel sorry about flooding a thread with crafty goodness, azcrafty! Your first valentine is really cute--and punny. The second is gorgeous: such rich materials and intricate dies. Love the lace and foil in the sympathy cards. And that embossing folder goes PERFECTLY with the llamas and the multicoloured doilies.

The funny part that I had this pack of paper in the giveaway pile, but I thought I would try out the idea on them first and I just loved them, because of the southwest vibe I thought it would work well with my llama.
