My March intention for the silhouette is to use my pens. I've had my Silhouette for 5 years and have never used the pens. This is my public intention to try this out before March is over. I'm going to do it! I am.  |

March goal accomplished! Used my Silhouette to draw - finally!! Not hard at all. Just had to get over the mental block. Tried a few different pens and cutting them out using the 'offset' function.  |

@zingermack Not exactly in line with your goals to use your Silhouette more, but I know you like DIY low-cost creative things... This video starts off a bit philosophical and wordy, but eventually she gets to making cards using old clothes that can't be rescued enough to donate. Stamping and coloring on fabric, die cutting fabric, embossing with lacy textures from old clothes... Might spark some ideas:

Thanks joblackford! WIll have a look. My April goal was to cut stencil designs (in Feb, I cut stencil words) w/my cameo. But haven't done that yet. So, now it's my May goal Jan - Cut stamps - Done Feb - Cut stencil words - Done Mar - Use penholder to draw - Done April/May - Cut stencil design - Holding myself to this one June - Use penholder w/glue pen to foil July/Aug - Try to make embossing folders by lining up designs and running through cuttlebug |
