Hey, y'all! I am posting this challenge two days early due to some major, dangerous weather we are having in my N TX corner of the states. I have no idea if/when I will have power over the next couple of days, so I wanted to get this up for you. Today's challenge is to use FLOWER POWER for your project. These can be punched with a punch, cut with a manual diecut machine, electronic diecut machine, fussy cut... TWIST 1: Make the flowers the main embellishment in a big line. This can be down the center, down the side, diagonally across the center... TWIST 2: Sneak a heart somewhere into the line of embellishments. (I forgot to add mine before taking the pic.) You will receive 1 point for the floral diecuts, and 2 bonus points if you use the floral diecuts in a straight line. Take an additional 2 bonus points if you add a heart diecut (Again...store bought, punched, hand cut...). Total points for completing all items is 5 points. Thanks for thinking of US while you prepare for possible power outages, KikiPea. Stay warm! Your sample page is beautiful. The background papers make this look like a heritage page, and the tumbling flowers are a lovely counterpoint. Great fall colours, too. I don't do many flowery LO's, but yours always make me think I would like to. Will have to see if I can find some diecuts that would work with any of my photos. |

They are both gorgeous pages - the layering looks amazing! I started two layouts for this challenge last night, and spent quite a bit of time working on them both, but then Photoshop crashed and I lost both layouts. I forgot that I had turned off the recover function due to problems I was having with the scratch pad. So frustrating! I guess that's the digital version of spilling coffee on your paper layouts and having to start again!  |

Okay, KikiPea. You "made" me buy some VB diecuts they still had left at the LSS yesterday! I also bought the mask I am wearing in the photo yesterday, at M's.  Scrap everyday by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am also using this for jjpeapea's challenge to use stencils or masks. |

Okay, KikiPea . You "made" me buy some VB diecuts they still had left at the LSS yesterday! I also bought the mask I am wearing in the photo yesterday, at M's. Scrap everyday by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I am also using this for jjpeapea 's challenge to use stencils or masks. YAY!!!!!!!!!! So glad you did, because it's absolutely gorgeous! |
