Does anyone own, or know of, a die to cut out 6x4 journal cards. I'm doing my first pocket page scrapbook and I'm so left brained that not having exactly exact 6x4 cards is driving me insane already (and I just started). I do own dies for the 3x4 size. Help! Please!

If you don't mind rounded corners, I own the Becky Higgins Project Life metal die set that has 6x4 and 3x4 and some smaller metal dies. I do not have the best paper trimmer, so I prefer to use my dies too.

This one from Scrapbook.com isn't available yet but it looks promising! Lawn Fawn used to have a set of 3x4/4x6 dies back in the day but I think they had rounded corners too.

I am always having to trim a teeny bit off my cards to get them to fit in pockets. Not sure a true 4x6 would work without still having to trim a bit

I've looked though and the Becky Higgins doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

That looks exactly what I want and what a good price! I would have to wait though. I searched Scrapbook.com and noticed that they also have this set available and on sale. The only die in that set that I really need is the 6x4 one but for $11.99 I think I can be persuaded.

As long as they are subtly rounded.

Although I don't pocket scrap, I'm also left-brained & appreciate the consistency of dies. Big box craft stores, if available in your area, often carry nesting dies (e.g. Hero Arts, Sizzix, Spellbinders, Memento) in basic shapes that can be purchased during weekly sales or with coupons. Perhaps they contain a standard 4x6 sized die.

I just got the tag die set in the mail and the biggest one is a little bit off from what they say on the website. I will actually cut it out and double check in a while. That rectangle set might be off from 4x6 also since is is not purposely meant to be for photo pocket journaling cards. Just FYI. ETA: Ok, yes the biggest tag die is approximately 1/8 inch short of the size they say on the website (8 inches). So according to google 3.175 millimeters off.

I saw the American Crafts one that cuts the 4x6 and 3x4. too bad they don't have the nesting capability.

For petes sake in the BH page protectors all of the 3x4 pockets on the same page are not the same. 2 are fine. 1 is a hair too wide and the last is a full 1/16 too thin. Drives my batty

Does anyone use their Cricut / cutting machines to make their cards? Just thinking with the inconsistency of the pockets, could use the machine to get an accurate cut so you don't have to do the extra trimming? Thinking it might be worth the trouble for larger projects, etc?

Sizzix had a rounded 4x6 die, I just sold it to someone because I don't like rounded corners. I wish I would have tried selling it here to you all first. Sorry about that!

Well that explains why it sits there! I’m also in the square corners camp.

BTW if anyone is into getting fancy with their 3x4 penny black has a 3x4 back ground die. I picked it up at my LSS Penny black geometric circles, it is exactly 3x4 so it won’t be able to be trimmed if your pockets are too narrow. I plan to use it with titles & dates
