I like to get up a few minutes early (like, very few) and get a couple things done. I always feel so much better going off to work knowing I started a load of laundry or have waste baskets in the tub with bleach water in them waiting to be cleaned when I get home or the dishwasher is running when I leave. I like that I can start a project in the AM and get myself set up for the evening.
However, this morning I got a bug up my butt to trim up the little dog. Last night I combed out her curls so she was "ready". I got one side done and ran out of time. So now she's all nice and trimmed up on half of her body and the other half looks like she had a blow-out.
Sometimes, morning efficiency blows up in my face.
No, there are no pictures...as I said, I ran out of time! And was wrestling with the 2 pibbles as I was trying to get ready.

I love to get up early, but I don't get a lot done. I am more of a putterer and wander around, drink coffee, take my time doing stuff...but nothing that would be considered remotely productive.

That's funny about the dog!
No morning productivity for me before work. I think earlier this week, I retrieved a rug out of the dryer to airdry before I left for work, but usually I do JUST what's necessary to get the dogs tucked in and me presentably out the door.
Now, weekend mornings, I start right in on laundry after coffee.

I always, always, always get something done in the morning. As early as I possibly can, just so I can check it off my list.
So that even if the whole day goes to hell, I've accomplished something.

No. Not even a little bit. I would rather prep things the night before. I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination. I even have a hard time engaging in conversation before 11 am. Luckily I have a job that doesn't involve a lot of human interaction.

I'm most active at midnight-ish. The early morning I can't even think straight.

I'm a morning person by nature so I get up, make my bed, empty the dishwasher, walk the dog, get my lunch ready then shower, dress and out the door for work.
I hate nothing more than coming home to an unmade bed and a dishwasher full of dishes.
Most times I try and get started on my weekly chores on Friday, evenings, like cleaning my bathrooms....then Saturday mornings it's a quick mopping of the floors and some laundry. There's only 2 of us and my husband is out of town a lot so laundry isn't that huge of a deal for me.

I am the only morning person in my family so it works out great...no one else is up as early and I get a lot of stuff done after I shower and before I leave for work. It's my most productive time of the day, hands down.

Yes! I love getting a few things done in the morning. This morning I put together a meatloaf for dinner tonight. It's in the fridge waiting so that when I get home all I have to do is pop it in the oven!
I always make sure the kitchen is clean before I leave for work, I hate cooking in a messy kitchen. The other thing I always do in the morning is make my bed. It is the FIRST thing I do when I wake up (well, after I turn off the alarm).

What time are all of you leaving for work/getting up? I can maybe get a load of laundry in but that's about it. I get up at 5:45 a.m. to leave at 6:45 a.m. Getting up any earlier would be a struggle for me.

Yes! I love getting up early. I do a couple of chores, usually laundry and maybe some dinner prep. Then I workout. If for some reason I have to cut my time short, I get irritated. That couple of hours in the morning helps me get ready to take on the rest of my day.

I get up around 1-2 hours earlier so I can just have coffee and a quiet time to myself before I even start getting ready. I do get some things done, feeding pets, cleaning a little. The rest of my day is usually fast paced so I need that time for myself. After work I do whatever else needs to be done.

I am a morning person. I work out, run a load of laundry, pick up, change out the dishwasher, and scrapbook, all before getting the kids ready to go to school and getting myself to work. If I don't get that stuff done in the morning, I am usually unmotivated to do it at night.

Yup, I get up at 5, work out, do the dishes, start laundry if needed, a few other quick cleaning chores, feed the pets, walk the dog, shower, get dressed, and make breakfast before my son comes downstairs at about 7. It gets my day off to a smooth start, and keeps my evenings free to spend time with the family.

It depends if I have to walk the dogs or if SO does it. I work out in the evenings, so that's not a time issue in the AM. I can be ready to go in less than 40 mins, shower, hair, makeup, clothes...I'm pretty quick with that. I have short hair which doesn't require a lot of work. I tried to grow it over the last year and I HATED it. It is a complete time suck. I don't know how you ladies do it!

I try to get stuff done, too. I love that my washer has a time delay so I can throw a load in and set the delay. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I am doing, I run late. Wish I could be so motivated on the weekends!

Yes, I like to come home to a reasonably tidy house, with the evening meal at least semi prepped.

Early morning and late at night is when I have the most desire/energy to get stuff done.

It really depends on if I got a good nights sleep. Some mornings I get the kitchen all wiped down, laundry started, even vacuum sometimes.
Other mornings I am lucky if I am out the door with matching shoes!

I work varying schedules, either 7a-3p, 3p-11p, or 11p-7a. Regardless of what my schedule is, I prefer to wake up as late as possible and then get stuff done when I come home. Sometimes it can't work that way due to the rest of the world's schedule, but that's what I prefer.

Yes I love to get up early - get a run in, shower and get the coffee and breakfast going before everyone wakes up. Laundry however can wait lol.

I get up at 6 am and don't have to be at work until 9:30 so I have plenty of time. And I think that's my problem. I'm the most productive in the last 30-45 minutes before I head out the door because I've run out of time! But I do make the bed, clean the bathroom, start laundry, vacuum, etc because I like coming home to a clean house after work. I will do Pilates or Yoga in the morning, but I don't like to do cardio or weights then. I really prefer afternoon or early evening for that. So, yeah, I could get a lot more done. But I kinda like my slow, relaxed mornings.

Yes! I am very much a morning person. I can get a ton of stuff done before my family wakes up and I like the solitary time too. After supper, I start winding down and don't want to do very much.
