I'm making those slutty brownies, a cherry dump cake, Texas caviar, guacamole (no mayo ) and stuff to make summer cocktails. I was going to take some deviled eggs, but SO goes nuts over them, and well you know...I have to share a bed with him!

To Friday's gathering I am taking chicken enchiladas and vegan enchiladas made with homemade tortillas. I am also taking a red, white and blue cake. White cake, with a layer of homemade strawbery pie filling and a layer of homemade blueberry pie filling. I have to decide if if I want to frost with whip cream or buttercream.
Sat's gathering will be singapore noodles and the same cake as above.
Depending on how much energy I have I might make some homemade cream puffs for Friday's gathering also (just so I have an excuse to make them again)

A camera. I have a wedding on Saturday. I might make my husband take me for a picnic on Friday, it's our 6th anniversary.

I'm hosting here at our house, and we are just doing chicken fajitas on the grill. Other family members are bringing rice, beans, queso, guacamole, tortilla chips, etc. Not very 4th of July-ish, but super easy!

Slutty brownies? Are those on the recipe thread, because my BFF and I need those! Seriously, I am taking some kind of dessert and some baked beans that I made before and everyone raved about. I honestly don't know why - they're nothing special although they do taste good - but hey, if that's what they want, that's what they'll get! And they're easy! Maybe some pasta salad, too, but I haven't decided.

We are actually hosting again this year. We'll have smoked ribs, smoked chicken, burgers, dogs, a salad that I make and everyone loves, loaded potato salad, homemade mac-n-cheese, baked beans, etc. We don't really ask people to bring anything, but if they'd like to, they are welcome to. (Except their own alcohol, if they want that). ETA: I forgot about deviled eggs...

I'm just afraid I'd spend a ton of money on beer and alcohol that no one drinks LOL. We will have all sorts of wine and sangria because we get that for free LOL...

I am torn, cuz whatever I bring can't be warmed up. We are at a campsite by the lake, and also has to be in a cooler.
