Hey, y'all! I am posting this challenge two days early as I will not have access to my laptop for a bit, so I wanted to get this up for you. Today's challenge is to Make them LARGE and in CHARGE! for your project. Use diecuts that are on the larger size, and become more of a focal point. These can be punched with a punch, cut with a manual diecut machine, electronic diecut machine, fussy cut... TWIST 1: Make the diecuts run off the sides of your pages. TWIST 2: Sneak a CAMERA, or an ARROW somewhere into the line of embellishments. You will receive 1 point for the LARGE diecuts, and 2 bonus points if the diecuts run off the sides of the page. Take an additional 1 bonus point if you add a CAMERA or ARROW diecut (Again...store bought, punched, hand cut...) or 2 bonus points if you use BOTH! Total points for completing all items is 5 points. My layout example: grammadee

All you Texans are in my heart these days. I hope your lives will be returning to normal soon. Thanks for spending your time, your energy, and your laptop battery on the challenge. Stay safe. Stay warm.
Great challenge, and I love your layout. I know exactly what set of photos I want to use for this one.

Thanks for doing this for us, KikiPea, when you obviously have so many other things to think about right now. Your page is beautiful. Awesome how you extended the map pp with the stenciled map. And the big diecuts work perfectly with the big image of the window.

Thanks, y’all! We’re all good, as are my parents. It could have been so much worse for them (Their power was out for over 2 days.) as their house is 40+ years old, but all is well. Our temp was 75° yesterday! So crazy. Texas is a bad drunk. LOL
So many others have it much worse right now. 😢

KikiPea , what a bold and vivid layout! I love how the pattern in the actual street becomes part of the pattern. Fort Worth looks fun. (I've only been in the airport.) So when I woke up this morning I intended to do gramma 's documenting with AussieMeg 's sketch. Then when I saw KiKiPea's diecut challenge I thought it was be great to use some cooking related dies. A 3 for 1.

Wow, jjpeapea ! Gotta love 3 for 1! And this is a wonderful page. Love how you showcased your memories of your grandmother's cooking. Love all the cooking embellishments and the way those rounded squares pop against the background. Here is my page for this challenge. I was cleaning my scraproom this morning and decided not to put away a couple of fall collections b/c I am anticipating lilacgal 's next challenge. My winter bin is out in the open in wait for more winter pages. Then I unearthed this branding strip that was burried in my scraps, and this masked gnome I had saved from a Christmas card from nicolep . Suddendly I was putting together this page! Oh, and the little navy banner was waiting patiently on the floor . Had to print the photo from my phone, but the rest basically just put itself together. together blessed by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

grammadee, love it. When you look back you will remember there was a pandemic but you still had good times together. Your page looks amazing with the gnome off the page and the sparkly sun. You even snuck in the camera and arrow. (I decided to forgo those, although I DID stage a photo session for my kitchen things...)

jjpeapea Another score on exactly what I was aiming for in my 28-4-28 challenges. I have some of the same pieces that your grandmother had. And you're right, it makes me feel close.

I created these big flowers for my page, mimicking the flowers in the background paper. I used them to cover up some audience heads in the pictures too (my Nana was NOT a good photographer!) layout amateur hour by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I didn't do either twist, but got some large die cuts made. Sweet KikiPea , I love your big die cuts and love the way they go off the page. So artsy! Beautiful page and sweet photo memories. Thanks for the challenge. jjpeapea , you did a fabulous job of doing 3 Challenges in one project, and what a great project it is. That photo looks so much like my husband's sister that I did a double take. I wonder if you are related? Sweet, heirloom page. I caught grammadee and kitbop in the gallery.

I love all the layers on everyone's pages here. Mine's pretty minimal, but I'm just glad it's done. Thanks for the challenge kikipea!
