Wow! malibou that is awesome! What I wouldn't give for a grab bag like that. lainey I just got an email from Wool Warehouse and they are advertising a new fabric line by Dashwood called Hobbies. It looks like it would be right up your alley. You may want to check it out and see what you think. I saw that earlier and while it is really lovely fabric I'm more than a bit miffed with WW atm. My Harmony blanket kit hasn't arrived after being in transit for 3 weeks, I emailed yesterday to see if they had any info and I got a really unhelpful and somewhat rude response. They're usually great and I've never had an issue with them before so this was a bit of a shock. |

I'll keep my fingers crossed that we both get our orders. Mine can take up to two weeks, usually. So if I don't get it by Monday, then I'll worry. |

March was hell for me. No crafting. Managed to read 1 book and 25% of another. Hoping for a better April. I am sorry to hear that. I do hope things start to look up in April for you. My reading has taken a hit too - I am finding I just can't concentrate on very much at all, so I am only managing the occasional cosy mystery, that doesn't take a lot of brain power to follow. As for me, I've been knitting along quite merrily, but have been too lazy to take photos and post anything. I swear I'll get more organised in April. |

I got to the last of the 16 vertical rows of the pattern when I used the wrong thread on part of it and it took me as long to rip that out as it would have to have finished. I'm now doing the construction. Hopefully they will be posted in the April craft thread soon. I can't wait to get that white fabric out of my craft room so I can do some messier projects. |

I did take 1 row off from each side because I needed 27 rows, not 29, to fit the clasp. I used Delicas and changed the colors. I'm not sure if I wrote the numbers down, but they probably won't match up to your seed beads. I can look, if you'd like. Thank you! MichyM inspired me to learn how to loom when she posted one of her bracelets last year and now I'm hooked! |

It is just a hobby at the moment - but if I keep it up I may need to figure out how to sell some before baskets take over my house!  This latest market basket would make a pretty Easter basket when it is finished. I'm trying to figure out if I can embellish the handle with the same treatment I am currently using on the border. It may make the handle too wide though so I'll have to see. The colored reed is actually space dyed - so the color on each individual strand blends from blue to purple to green and then repeats. I think I posted a little egg basket a while back using the same reed. It makes for an interesting effect. |

Thanks alexa11 , I added the shop as a source. Your color choices completely changed the design, in such a positive way. Thank you so much for the offer, I really appreciate it, but those colors don’t compliment my skin tone so I’d never have anything to wear it with. I didn’t even consider that it might be looming, the little work I’ve done has been with regular patterns, I’m using the simple herringbone stitch right now IIRC. Looming is definitely something I want to try in the future. I had forgotten @micym made jewelry for a moment, beautiful pieces though, aren’t they? Going to go look again cause it’s been a while. |
