I've finished my charity blanket, it's large, over six foot in width and height. Now to get it sent off.
Am working on the border for my Queen, hopefully this weekend will see it done.
After that I'm setting up my Folk Queen and doing some sewing projects.

I've lost my mind. I couldn't find any fabric I liked for my dining room windows so I'm using my sewing machine to embroider my own - 12 yards of it! I have one 3 yard panel done. The story is on my blog. Blog postHere's a snapshot. That's incredible Lisa! Just wow!

Bummer for me! But it is beautiful. What colors are you using? I'll post a pic later

Bummer for me! But it is beautiful. What colors are you using? That's a great pattern but you might be able to do something similar, jeremysgirl. I'm sure I have done a similar pattern in crochet. I'll dig a photo out for you to see. Am working on the border for my Queen, hopefully this weekend will see it done. Same here but I will probably need longer than the weekend. I've just dome the first dc row of the back border. It's only the small blanket but I can't spend as long, per day, as I would like. The VAT man calleth.

jeremysgirl this is all crochet and the pattern I was meaning is the one pretty much down the middle, to the right of the green triangles. I can’t even remember the designer so if you’d like more details you’ll need to bear with me please.

OOH, I love that gillyp I would love it if you could come up with a name for the pattern. That section would make an excellent wrap.

I am still knitting away at my prayer shawl that I am making for someone at our church (I told you I was a slow knitter)

OOH, I love that gillyp I would love it if you could come up with a name for the pattern. That section would make an excellent wrap. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/a-little-help-from-my-friends-cal It appears to be a free download at the moment. I SO love this blanket and the honeycomb stitch was one of my favourites. Darn, I've just clicked the link and it's not working. Search A Little Help From My Friends CAL on Ravelry and hopefully you will get there. It's by Hooked on Sunshine. I'll check the link. Love the ruffled edging to your shawl disneypal

gillyp, I love that blanket. The colours are so chic I will check out the Great Pottery Throw-Down! My daughter and I love the bake off, and much of my daily commute is preoccupied with whimsical fantasies of living in a tiny British cottage and becoming a ceramic artist, so that is 100% up my alley. (Also, 100% unlikely, but alas, I can dream!) peasapie, that's good to know. Everyone always tells me to stay away from Singer, but honestly, all my machines have been Singer and I have always been happy with them. I was waffling between a Janome and Singer, and I may just go with my gut and get the Singer. Tried and true and all that. My machine is so old and I have been thoroughly committed to the retro nostalgia of it, but the new features are also so nice.

Rainy_Day_Woman for some reason I can't see your image on my phone or computer. And I'd really like to see it. If you want to start knitting, we have a whole host if Knitters here who can help you get started. Somehow we lured gar into our yarny web in the past two months and I'm sure we can lure you in too. Ha- Flickr is acting up on me, I will figure it out. You guys have inspiring knitting! My mom is a really great knitter as well and my daughter knits some, so they can rescue me from rookie mistakes. Ha, here is the house, it is just gigantic now. I am having image posting issues today, sorry ETA: think it's resized now This is great!

phoenixcov I see you're around this morning. Are you feeling any better and up for crafting at all lately? I've been worried about you. Still popping in and checking what the crafty peas are up to. You are kind to notice and be worried about me. Health wise still in a bit of a mess, I just thank goodness for crafting otherwise I would surely go off my head as I can`t do much else around the house still.. So here is a hand sewn Luna bunny made in Mohair instead of the usual felt, and a couple of hand sewn quilted dolls house bedspreads to go into my for sale bag. Mojo is quietly coming back. She's lovely!

Could I ask what y’all do with partially used skeins of yarn? I have 16 or 17 (I switched some colors and also added one or two) partially used skeins left over from the woodland blanket (I made it as large throw rather than twin bed size) I am currently finishing off (along with other different yards from previous projects). The yarn I used for the blanket is from Wool Warehouse, and I may very well use these yarn colors for different projects down the line, and/or may want more of a specific color here and there.
So, how do you mark it so you know what you have on hand? I tend to be an organized person, and prefer my crafting supplies to be organized and labeled as well. So tossing all of these in a bag with their paper labels doesn’t really work for me.
Any suggestions, photos, etc are appreciated! ❤️

Ooo, Rainy_Day_Woman, an Olde English Tea Shoppe with a pottery studio on the side! Wonderful! When will you be over? MichyM I’d like to know too! Currently I’m keeping my bits for the granddaughters to learn various yarn crafts and last year I thought I’d start using them to make different squares with a view to having a crochet and knitted patchwork blanket. I’d happily donate them to folk who make items for charities too so I need to look into that. I’d also like to be beautifully organised and every time I start a project I’d like to keep notes of what yarn I’m using, hook size, where the pattern is etc etc. So far I’ve always been so keen to start something new that being that organised goes right out of the window.

I love all the projects!
Handed over my HST parts to be embroidered yesterday. She said she was going to do them this weekend. Squeeee!!!!
I will probably get them back next week because I’m cutting vinyl for her to make a St.Patrick’s day short for her DH.

How cute is this to use up scraps? There is a knitted and crocheted version. It's definitely one for my favourites.

I started doing this after our grandson was born early at 20 weeks and only lived 2 hours. I normally donate to the hospital he was born at, but haven't been able to do that this last year. I found a place that makes up boxes and sends them to hospitals. I’m very sorry about your grandson. I'm very sad for both of your losses. Sending you huge cyber hugs.

Fab crafts everyone 😍🥰 I’m still plodding along with my Sacred Space, had a major meltdown with it last weekend as my stitches were out. A message chat plus a lovely phone call with jeremysgirl , three days later and after a lot of counting (maths is not my forte). I’m back on track
