I doubt that he had bagged a beauty. Whoever she is, I have would focus on her choices vs. her looks. And how she can stomach (see what I did there?) being married to an infantile moronic thinker.

I can’t believe they posted this on the website! Seems like something that would secretly recorded and shared. But nope, they see as something to proud of.
Can someone explain this part to me? One little boy asked, 'Why do girls wear make-up and perfume?' Because they're ugly and they stink. You don't want to be ugly and stink."
Is the pastor saying that women are usually ugly and stink and they need makeup and perfume. Or is the little boy?

He's been canceled. (Taken a leave of absence and seeing professional counseling) He should have been cancelled long ago. PS - "The church is in crisis mode. No one there has apologized for anything. No one there has admitted Clark’s words were both harmful and untrue. No one there has explained why he was able to do this for years without church leaders or members taking action. (Unless they say otherwise, I’m assuming it’s because they all agreed with him.) No one there has said what they’re going to do to change course so that married women aren’t reduced to the role of trophy wives at best or wastes of space at worst. "

"Also of course, Clark himself is hardly a slender reed. But this fact simply lays bare what’s really happening with his advice to women. More importantly, it reveals why he felt entitled to give it in the way that he did. He’s not talking about health here. Nor is he talking about any kind of healthy relationship where each partner does their best because that’s just the right thing to do, and where partners support each other knowing that when they need it, their partners will be there for them in turn. No. Nothing like that. Clark speaks as one of the powerful in evangelicalism addressing the powerless members of the tribe. And he’s telling those powerless members that their value rests entirely in how appealing they are to the male gaze. This is the message he sent: Unless a man finds a woman sexually irresistible, she has no inherent value otherwise. It falls to powerless women to bash their brains out meeting elusive, shifting standards of beauty. Men, of course, need feel no similar obligation." www.patheos.com/blogs/rolltodisbelieve/2021/03/02/stewart-allen-clark-and-the-double-message-evangelical-men-send-to-women/The "blame and shame" game doesn't work so well anymore, my dudes. Better get back to your pastor/preacher conference and find another way to keep the ladies in line. Next time you talk about the ladies "letting themselves go", you might be the one "let go".

When I used to moderate a parenting site, I was surprised at how many people had this attitude, both men and women :/.

He wants back in: " Dear Church & Community, On Sunday, February 21, 2021, I delivered a sermon about men’s needs in the marital relationship. In the sermon, I made insensitive remarks about women and made statements deemed unbiblical. To the ladies within the church, ladies in the community, and those viewing our Livestream; I want to say I am deeply sorry for any and all pain or distress that my words brought on you. I want to say to the church that I’m truly sorry that I embarrassed you. I have no one else to blame but myself, and I own the hurt I have caused to both people inside and outside the community. Since February 28, I have taken a leave of absence. I am meeting regularly with a professional counselor. I have secured an accountability partner, and we are and will continue to meet regularly. I recognize and understand that what I said was imprudent and discourteous. I sincerely ask for your forgiveness and to be restored as your pastor. I genuinely believe this is the best way forward. Sincerely Yours & His, Stewart-Allen Clark" So do the deacons: We are called to model Christ’s love through forgiveness and restoration toward our Pastor. This is our goal and we encourage the congregation toward the same love and forgiveness. We should all pray for the unity and harmony of our body that we could advance the cause of Christ in our own lives, in the life of our congregation, and in the lives we are called to witness in the surrounding communities. Let us all trust Christ that He will accomplish His purposes for the Glory of His Kingdom. www.1gbmalden.org/----- Here's a little hint for you boys. It's not a problem of LANGUAGE. It is a problem with your putrid, misogynistic, archaic, uninformed BELIEFS.

Is the pastor saying that women are usually ugly and stink and they need makeup and perfume. Or is the little boy? The way I read it is that all women are ugly and stink which is why they need to wear make-up and perfume. When he said "You don't want to be ugly and stink" to the boy I think he was just teasing him. Obviously to him boys and men do not stink. Only girls and women do. What a sexist, fucked up, dangerous man he is! Dangerous because he was allowed in his position to spread his hatred, filth and sexist ideas to others via being a "preacher". I'm very glad he was cancelled and let go but I have no doubt he will be preaching again.
