Good Morning natscraps, grammadee, teacherlisa, azcrafty, msliz, AussieMeg, nylene, sleepingbooty, @sunnycamom, and smalltowngirlie. Welcome to March! How's everyone doing? Are you still buried by winter, or is it more like here in MO where it feels like Spring is here early? We went from below zero frigid to 50's in the span of a week! And it's stayed in the 50's or 60's since. I'll take it! And I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's it for cold weather lol. Lots of great challenges posted, and I'm going to finish working through the 28-4-28 challenges. Those were great and I want to do them all. I have huge stack of stuff I've pulled out for page planning. The beginning of a new month is so energizing to me - probably all the great intentions I set and then don't meet LOL. Double points for the Immunity and Beyond crop too. I love that sleepingbooty, it's perfect I will be planning some things to work on so I can be a speed scrapper that weekend lol. If you haven't joined in on pea virtual crop, I hope you'll think about it. They are a lot of fun and it's great having people to scrap with. This is the last month for crops every weekend. I'm sure there will be pop up crops here and there afterward. Here's to a fun productive month!

Thanks, joyfulnana for being our fearless leader! We still have lots of white around here, but it has been above freezing every day for awhile, so drifts are shrinking. But we do not expect winter to be over anytime soon up here in NE Alberta! Looking forward to the Immunity and Beyond! crop weekend. Hoping to host at least one extra virtual crop session sometime during that. In a world where so much gathering is restricted, I find those virtual sessions refreshing and energizing. Usually don't get much done DURING them, but my creativity jumps afterward and they keep a smile on my face. Hoping anyone who CAN join in this month, will. Here is to a Marvelous March!

Can't take credit for the awesome crop name. grammadee came up with it! I'm so looking forward to spending some quality time with all of you ladies. Winter here is slowly on its way out. I spotted some bees buzzing in the tree blossom last week. Weather is still a bit chilly but I really cannot complain compared to other parts of the Northern Hemisphere. We're hitting around 17°C/62°F in the afternoon on an almost daily basis now. Can't wait for April-May and putting away my winter coat! I hope everyone is staying warm and safe in their nook of the world. Just a few more months to go before we're all vaccinated (crossing my fingers for June-July since I'm not in a priority category) and ready to live a little more normally. My mother's getting her first vaccine in just over a week now. So excited for her!

I have not participated in a virtual crop in years. I may need a refresher course on what to do. My scrapping space got relocated unexpectedly last summer and I am finally pulling things out again. I still have no real space to scrap, but am trying to make something work.

smalltowngirlie, I don't have a dedicated space either. It sucks! But I'm making do. I hope you'll join us in a crop soon. sleepingbooty my mom has had both the vaccine shots now and I'm so relieved! I'm standing ready for my turn. I'm hosting the crop Sunday afternoon from Noon-4 EST if anyone wants to join. I'm still a slow scrapper, but the virtual crops make me stop and scrap. Instead of letting other things take that time. It's a Rudy weekend and he'll be here for most of the crop while his dad is at a socially distanced, mask on band practice. They have no shows lined up whatsoever, but they miss getting together to play. They are in a huge warehouse space, so lots of distance for them. I've been putting together page kits to meet the 28-4-28 challenges. I'm all the way up to #7 lol.

I have not participated in a virtual crop in years. I may need a refresher course on what to do. My scrapping space got relocated unexpectedly last summer and I am finally pulling things out again. I still have no real space to scrap, but am trying to make something work. I posted on the March random scrappiness thread about how I might be scrapping on the floor again this weekend, LOL. The Peas from the virtual crops will remember I was using the floor for maybe 3 months last year while DD17 was using our craft table for her painting projects. In a previous house, I would scrap on my dining room table. I stored most of my supplies in a cabinet so the place would look tidy again when I was finished for the day. It was one of my favorite set ups actually, because the table was big enough that I could invite a couple friends over to scrap with me. I hope you can find a spot that works for you in your new place! To all of Team Joyful, please join us for the weekend virtual crops. I love these girls! and they've made this quarantine business so much easier to bear. There are two every weekend through the end of March, Saturday 6-10 EST and Sunday noon-4 EST. After that we'll be making up a new schedule depending on the availability of hosts. Watch the GS Board for a thread with the link to be posted at the start time. You only need to have a Google account to participate.

How do the virtual crops work? Maybe I am not looking at the right threads to get all the info. If there is one this weekend I will certainly join if I am feeling up to it. DH got his second dose and it hit him pretty hard. I get my second dose on about an hour and a half and am hoping I do not have a big reaction. We will see.

How do the virtual crops work? They're very low key. We just chit chat on camera while we're playing with our papers, doing our own thing. If it'll help you find it, I can post a link to the thread here

Hey there! Excited to be back at it! I missed sign ups last month by accident 😂 I’m in Az and it starting to get warm here already. I’m hoping to get in on a crop.

Hi Team Joyful, Here's a link to the thread for this Saturday's virtual crop. I hope you'll all feel welcome to join us! Even if you're not available on Saturday, please take a look at the first post in the thread as it has the rest of the virtual crop dates and times for the remainder of the month, including all the bonus crops we added for the To Immunity and Beyond Crop Weekend.

Good Luck on that second shot smalltowngirlie! I'm still waiting to get my first. I hope you all will try popping in on a crop sometime. They are so fun and I love having the company! It's like cropping in real life without having to pack (which is the best part) I have DGS during tomorrow's crop so I will be in the dining room lol. I have a stack of pages planned that I will be starting on today. I always think I'm going to get some scrapping in on the weeknights, and well that never happens. But pulling pictures and paper I can do. I started to do a purge of my paper, decided that was more mess than I could deal with and put it all back. Another time! lol. I hope everyone is having a relaxing Saturday morning!

Off to drive dh to his first vaccine shot. Won’t be scrapping this weekend cuz I am still pet sitting. And not sure how much “sitting” will be involved after puppy is kennelled for 4 hours while we are gone!

grammadee I love those kits, I haven't purchased any. Yet. lol. Your shopping sounds like mine. No scrapping? Ok, lets do some big shopping instead! I did that last month. Had 7 orders come. Ack! I'm working through my freeze. 25 pages before I shop again. That will probably take me to the end of the year lol.

I'm so weird, I get new stuff I just HAD to have. Pet it and put it away. I have to let the newness wear off before I'm ready to cut into it. It can't be too precious LOL.
Omg I jinxed myself so bad with work. I thought things were going to be a little less crazy. Nope! Yesterday was so ridiculously busy. I don't think I've seen a day like in all the time I've worked there lol. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it was a fluke! lol.

I haven't been as productive this month as I was last month. I'm really glad for our weekends now since that's the only time I can seem to dedicate my time
Shopping sounds good. But what I think I really need are some sketches to inspire me, so I can do some planning on the days when I can't scrap. I'm going to go through the Sketchtember posts and sketchy Saturday posts again

Thanks, msliz, for the chat Sat night. It made me forget about everything else while chatting and scrapping. I am more productive if I have most things done and am just arranging things on cards or layouts. I can't measure, cut and chat at the same time. Those few hours together with all the sweet scrappers on 2Peas really give my mental health a boost.

I love that crop time with the peas too. Even though I rarely finish anything during the crop. I'm still more productive than I've been in the past. My problem is I start getting all these great ideas in the morning before work and then my brain is fried in the evening so I don't get to the great ideas lol. Of course the great ideas come right before I have to go to work.
I can't believe this month is essentially half over already. I have virtual crop with my mom and my niece on Saturday so I'm hoping to finish what I started last weekend.
How's everyone doing this month so far? Those of you that have received your full vaccines how did that go? I'm starting to realize that I've been home so much that I'm not sure I remember how to get out in the world except to the grocery store. It's going to be weird being able to go visit people and actually go places again.

joyfulnana, it is weird being able to be around people. DH had me make signs for our doors that masks were required and they have hung on my doors for months. Yesterday our oldest DD came by and we were able to hug her without a mask. She is a teacher so we have all been vaccinated and it was a very freeing feeling. I look forward to having our Calif. DD and DSIL immunized so they can come and bring their children. I hope you get a lot done during your Online Crop with your mom and niece. I look forward to the Sat. crop to finish up some cards. I have good intentions of finishing the 28-4-28 challenges but haven't been working on them. I need to get going and earn some points for our Team.

Happy Saturday! Anyone have plans to scrap? I'm going to be finishing up my sample for the Saturday sketch I just posted. I'm ever the procrastinator lol. Meeting up on google meet with my mom and niece - the only people IRL that scrap. I'm looking forward to making a dent in last months challenges.

My [Not] Just for Boys kits arrived yesterday. Used a couple of elements from one of them today. Got a Canada Post email that my ScrapFan kit is sitting at the post office waiting for pick up. Couple of busy days ahead, and I need to clean my scraproom before the weekend crop.
Who will be playing along with To Immunity and Beyond? Options to scrap for double points, chat on line in the crop thread, go virtual with one or more of the Google Meets , or do all three! I will be hosting the meet Saturday morning.

I had great plans to be there for ALLLLLL of it. But one of my kids is trying to encroach lol. It will be hit or miss on Saturday as far as virtual cropping, but Sunday should be the entire day. I've got some pages planned out, and I've got ideas for the next set of 28-4-28 prompts I'm working on. It's going to be crazy if I finish them all this month. Instead of doing them last month lol. Man, it's so busy at work this week, it's going to be a long "season" this year. I'm so fried by the time I get off work, I've been using the early morning to plan pages and gather supplies. Anyone else planning to play along with us this weekend? I hope to see some new pea faces.

Don't forget there are double points for anything you create and share this weekend! And there are some extra points to be earned doing the prompts and sketches that will be appearing in the wild. Looking at the chatter, it's going to a fun weekend! I love this March crop so much. There is so much energy around it!

Hey, Joyfuls! Just a few more days to wrack of the last of the March points! I have been spending the last couple of days organizing the pages I have already done and other scrappy clutter.
Think I have a few more pages in me. Have some photos laid out on my counter, have an idea in mind for a two pager, and am deciding which papers/extras I will need to scrap them. Still need to scrap dh's January virtual bd party. And my new Hero Arts kit came in the mail today, so I am thinking I can use it to scrap about what I have been reading for one of the 28-4-28 recipe challenges. Have taken some screen shots of my iBooks to go on those pages.
And I need to get my butt in gear to make a few April birthday cards. Not sure if I will get to those, but maybe...
Hoping you all get to play at some time in the remaining few days of March.

Hey Team! How's everyone doing? I can't believe it's the end of the month already! I remember March 2020 dragging on for 6 years lol.
I'm going to maybe try to actually update my spot in the thread since I never do. I hopefully have one more page I can finish this month. I've been playing with it for 3 weeks so it's time to glue that stuff down!
Don't forget you earned double points for anything you created during the to Immunity and Beyond crop!
