I just had a quick look at all the other reviews left by the people who have reviewed the item linked in the op. There are 211 reviews across the five people, and every one of them is 5 stars, and (at a very quick scroll) all for sb.com products. I'd be more inclined to believe their reviews if some were 3 or 4 stars and across a range of brands. It's funny you say this because years ago, I read an article that talked about how to find real reviews for items on Amazon, since fake ones are now so prevalent. The article's advice was to look at the 3 and 4 star reviews because you're more likely to get the truth in them. If companies are going to fake a review, they'll fake a 5 star review, not a 3 or 4 star.

All I know is I trust the peas WAY more than any reviews That's how I first found the peas. Googling for product info on something or other eons ago. I used to know about the other two peas, but just for buying, not for the message board(s). I find I buy things the Peas suggest the most. It could be scrap related or not.

I always read the lower rated reviews because EVERY product has a downside and I want to know what it is. A lot of the 1 star reviews are dumbasses who don't read the instructions or people who are complaining about shipping or counterfeits, which is good to know too, and often products that failed after a week or a month. 3 and 4 star reviews tell you a lot about the things that are not dealbreakers but might be really annoying. 5 star reviews tend to be the least informative. It's a little annoying that on some sites like Etsy anything less than 5 stars is considered a failure. From the seller's side we're conditioned/encouraged to think that way. It's either perfectly amazing or I want my money back/don't buy from this shop, which is so not true. If I can't leave a 5 star review but the person didn't cheat me, I just wasn't very impressed, I usually don't leave any review. I don't want to "hurt" the ratings of the shop by leaving an honest 3 or 4 star review.
