Good morning all!! Catching up as I didn't play last night at all. It was just one of those nights of trying to get ready to head out of town, not feeling well and know I have to wrap china this evening due to putting it off for so long. I am taking my mom's first set of dishes to DD. Mother has changed what she uses over time and DD asked for the original. So it is hers. But I will be taking state highways in MS and AL and, well, I never know what they will be like. So wrap, wrap, wrap. But true to me, I put it off. Anywho...I am open with the whopping turnip price of 121 bells. I discovered as some of you have said, you CANNOT TT with turnips. I only bought 4 bunches on Sunday. I thought they would look cute in my farmer's market. And they did. But I forgot and Sunday afternoon, I went forward ONE stinkin' day. Monday or Tuesday night I was running around and thought they looked funny. I hovered over one and it said spoiled turnip. Thank goodness it was only 4 bunches that I ruined. So off to the rubbish bin they went. Speaking of running around at night. I did play for about 30 minutes before I went to bed. I ran all over my island with a net. I was hoping a tarantula would spawn. I have 2 and thought while Flick was there, I would try for a third to make a statue. Why? I don't know. I just think we all need a spider statue for something. Not a one of those suckers came after me. They stayed hidden. I knew I had a full day today so I made myself put the game down and head to sleepy time. Friendship levels. I am going to bombard Frank(who just asked to leave and I said no), Agnes, Velma and Pietro with gifts and talking to them. They are the only ones that have not given me photos. Of present villagers. Several have gotten away with giving me a photo. I am doing iron lamps, hanging terrariums and fossils. Can they only get one gift a day? Oh, and I just remembered Goldie. Got to get her in the game also. I keep getting her and Bones mixed up. Come play if you want. I never got the DIYs picked up on the beach so they can be picked over. I have flowers roped off in front of the mall, next to res services. Take what you want. Buy what you want in Nooks. AS is not open so don't know what they have. AND I have Leif. I will, for the most part, be AFK. You CAN time travel with turnips! But only forward, and not past Sunday. That was your mistake, TTing past Sunday. So for example, you could buy some on Sunday, then time travel to Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday because you're trying to get your flowers to grow. But you have to be aware that the game thinks it's Wednesday even if in real life it's Sunday, so you're going to arrive at the next Sunday sooner in the game than irl. So you'll have to sell those turnips before the game gets to Sunday. But the turnips will be just fine as long as you don't go backwards, and as long as you sell them before the game ticks over to Monday morning. Does that make sense? |

Sigh. Sigh! I had my mind on something else and accidentally gave Hornsby a yellow fairy tale dress! hahahahaha He says he looks "dapper" in it. um....  eta: To make up for that dumb mistake Chadder, who was next in line for his daily gift, gave me his photo.  |

monklady123 I got what you were saying. But it was Sunday, March 21 and I TTd to March 22. I think my issue was maybe going back to Sunday, March 21. It was all just to get a package that I ordered and then back to display it. Ohhhhhh, maybe I TTd on Saturday to Sunday. Bought my turnips and when I set my clock, it was back to Saturday. So yes, that was probably what I did and I noticed them either Sunday night or Monday night. I knew there was a caveat of TT and messing with Sundays. I think since I haven't been making a habit of buying turnips, I didn't even think about it. Thanks!

So again on the manifestation of the game. All you have to do is read it here and it happens in the game. I was fishing at lunch and finally caught a tire. Only the second one I have ever caught!
Oh and I used my first wand outfit today. Bright and sunny when I left the house. When I checked in at lunch it was raining. Out came the wand and POOF I was dry!

I switched my camper area with my bamboo gardens and I love the results. I was never happy with my former set up so now I've got island peace there, yay!
I started my rainbow garden FINALLY after wanting that for forever.
what are you working on.
Also, turnip prices on Dallywood are low still for today for those needing updates.

I was never happy with my former set up so now I've got island peace there, yay! I started my rainbow garden FINALLY after wanting that for forever. what are you working on. Also, turnip prices on Dallywood are low still for today for those needing updates. Not working on anything right now. I spend ALL.DAY Saturday getting my farmer's market set up with some new pathways. I need to get more of that pathway down. My tiny little mermaid area is done. Of course, that didn't take much. I have a new cliffside that I need to figure out what to do with it. Don't know how much play time I will get this weekend. I am taking a road trip to see my girl. Right now she is in freak out mode while storms roll through AL. While she was getting lunch, tornado sirens were sounding. She said the university she works for closed. Again. They closed last week(or the week before) due to storms. They have been hard hit in her area lately so they take this weather stuff pretty serious. If there are some good reddit spots to view for new ideas, I would be happy to check them out. |

I am working on the area to the right of residence services that, for now, will be my rotating holiday section. Not happy with what I did last night, so going to change it up tonight.
Trying to figure out what to do in front of my museum. I just set up a giant skull, but that was just to see what it looked like, it is not permanent.
I did my faux pond which I am happy with and my holiday isles (based on the scene in Nightmare where Jack finds the doors to the different holiday lands). I am happy with that because i think it is a nice compliment to my rainbow garden with permanent Christmas decor in the center.

Check in with your progress! Tore down the soccer field (was just a whim to toss something into empty space anyway) and tore down the shaved ice in favor of an ice cream truck. I can't wait to see your rainbow garden! Don't know how much play time I will get this weekend. I am taking a road trip to see my girl. Right now she is in freak out mode while storms roll through AL. Have a safe trip down! We drive through MO, AR, MS, AL to visit my Mama and her husband annually (well, except last year). I'm hoping those storms aren't too bad, although I heard they're heading up to TN and B'ham is getting some twisters. Typical Bama. |

I'm in the middle of several things, of course. lol --My big project was yesterday when I switched all my summer and winter clothes from one house to the other. That's when I realized that I have WAY too many clothes. hahaha -- I'm putting in a small juice bar area on the beach using some of the Festivale stuff. -- I've planted yet more hardwood trees so now I have a huge forest just as you arrive from the airport...I'm waiting for cherry blossom season so I'll have a sea of pink. -- I've taken down the bonfire that was in the middle of my villagers' neighborhood and put up Easter stuff. It looks okay but it's not done yet...I need to put something in front of each house, plus order some more of the planters. -- working on growing some flower hybrids but at the moment that area is just a hodgepodge of various combinations of flowers.... I need to fence it or something, to make it look neater. That's about it because the rest of the island is just as it has always been. lol. Lots of empty space for running, and the zen garden, greenhouse, and several little reading areas. Oh and my hot cocoa area near the museum which has been there since before Christmas. lol. That needs to come down. And also, I really want to move my campsite but really it's fine where it is since it's out of the way... I thought of setting up some of the kids' tents we got at Christmas and making a larger camping area... But, not sure yet how that would look. |

I have Saharah if anyone wants to visit her. She's trapped on the upper level where my rock garden is. You can jump in the pipe that's just at the exit to the airport.
There are a few DIYs at the airport, and some tailor tickets and Saharah tickets.
I'm afk doing dinner things...

Is the trump cage area getting old? Should I tear it down and not rebuild it? I'm a little torn about it.

You didn’t have to send it, but I appreciate it - I only ever get the white one in mine. Haha I professionally greeted every single villager. I’m tearing down everything of mine, replacing my diner with a butterfly garden, and I’m liking the change, so changing it out can always be a good thing too. Or you could always revamp it. Or do it inside a house room. I saw an awesome dungeon room in a house that would be perfect for him, his gold toilet and his bars. 😂 |
