Good morning! Thank you littlemama for the wall paper. I have to figure out how to use it correctly. You had your room designed so nicely. I haven't begun the process of tearing down my island yet. I'm not sure what I'm going to do or the best way to proceed. I watched a couple of videos for ideas. There was one idea that was very lovely but I don't think I want to devote that much space for what it was. It really doesn't fit with my island "theme" either. It's more @monklady. I liked this one lady's method since it's so much like mine. She said she just goes for it and doesn't plan. Except I really don't "go for it." I tend to do something and sit on it for a while. I'm thinking I want to level everything from the top down. That would mean that I would need to move the museum but I really like my museum where it is. I'll be visiting in a while. I need to charge the joy cons since I forgot to do that last night. |

My gates are open and there are wrapped gifts in front of Julian's house if you want to give him something. Fish, shop and buy whatever you want, harvest flowers you need. I am mostly AFK.

Can you guys help me watch turnip prices this week? Both me, 'dahlia' and dd 14 the original Dahlia 'Dahlia' bought tons of turnips this week, I'm getting low on bells after I spent millions giving away to DD and mom and bff and building houses lol.

Does anyone feel bad catching bugs? Especially the cute little honey bees and lady bugs? Butterflies too actually. It feels so mean to me, they are happily floating around pollenating things and living like and then 'blam!'.

Hi everyone! You started a new thread yesterday and it's already up to page 4!! Man alive. I didn't keep up with the last thread - I've been pretty checked out on the game for the last few weeks. Busy doing other stuff in the evenings and got out of the mode.
I need to catch back up. I am love the green clothes and I saw in a Youtube last night there's a Shamrock Wand DYI in the balloons! Has anyone caught one yet? I need to get playing so I can get one!
I love that Lake from that video. I created one on my Island in January or December. I do love it - but might move it. We'll see. I'm thinking I'm going to make Island changes now that it's Spring.
I broke down and bought San Rio amiibos on Etsy last night. I did actually take the 26th off, but after doing some reading and Video watching, I'm afraid they'll be sold out very quickly. Every other country did pre-orders on them, and all those pre-orders are sold out already. I may take my shot and see if I can get a set of the real ones, but I don't really care for the collectible aspect of them, more for the characters and items they bring. I saw in one video that there is some thinking out there that you won't be able to "share" these characters - meaning, if one of them goes into boxes, they won't be "invitable" to someone else Island. That's not for sure at this point, but heavy speculation.

They've been around for years, but are just be re-released with new features attached to them. I bought my set for $12 plus shipping, so right around $15. Yes, it's a mark up, but apparently the original set of these were going for over $100. They were never released in the US apparently, so there was a huge eBay market for them anyway leading up to this announcement. |

I mean once you are done with one and you kick them off the island does all their stuff go too? I bet the house exteriors are going to be darling.
I also wonder how Target handles these kinds of limited edition sales? I admit I kind of want to go wait in line to buy them but then when they open the doors are they really going to allow people to sprint all the way to the back of the store to get to the electronics counter? Cause my ass is not going to be running for through Target, leaping over displays and and tackling people for those Amibo packs, lol.
Or should I just take my chances and hope that the ebay ones will work? I'm afraid they won't work.

So a couple of things:
1) if I manage to catch another spider crab(shudder) can I just place it on the beach. Ya know, to scare the bejeezus out of those walking past?
2) why didn't y'all tell me there were so many bells to be had from diving and selling those underwater creatures?
3) does/did anyone else have Roald, the penguin, and notice he really, I mean REALLY, like to walk about the island in his bath towel wrap?
4) what do I do with all these red and white roses I just dug up and do I just dig up all the random flowers on the beach and trash them? I feel a need to save at lease one of each of them for those random floral DIYs we have.

As avid Funko Pop collectors, we used to stand in line with all the other "crazies". This was pre-Covid. The latest Funko release for Target was online and it was (mostly) okay. Make sure you can use a desktop if the mobile app is acting up. You could get amiibos for them previously, but the only thing they did in New Horizons was allow you to bring them to Harv's Island and get their poster (or something like that). The same cards from before will work w/ the new release to bring them to actually live on your Island and bring the new items. So, based on that, the amiibos people are buying on Etsy/Ebay/Twitter should work the same. As for what happens to the items when they leave your Island. I imagine everything purchased will be fine. You may just not be able to buy more!?!? Not sure on that one. |
