What?? This is crazy talk. With so many yarn crafts patterns out there, surely there's something to challenge you?? You both knit and crochet. There's a ton of new things out there. I just feel that I'm not getting the same level of enjoyment out of it atm. I was just being silly. I totally get where you're coming from. Usually when this happens to me I switch gears and scrapbook pretty consistently for a while when I lose my crochet mojo. |

I've just got to Kitchener the toe of my sock and they're done  I made myself get on with them and I'm so glad they're finished. I'm not sure what to do next, I feel like I need a new hobby to challenge myself!
I’m exactly like that. I dip in and out of hobbies all the time. I have so many different things on the go, I’m always in the middle of something new! Since you’ve made a lot of fabric bags, would you be interested in developing that skill? I’ve made quite a lot and there are a ton of free patterns online. I really like YouTube tutorials from Oklaroots. She goes through every step really clearly. |

You know you have the skills to take it back up again at any time. Any thoughts about a new skill? Quilting? There is a website called sewhot that has a wide range of modern quilt patterns. I’m exactly like that. I dip in and out of hobbies all the time. I have so many different things on the go, I’m always in the middle of something new! Are these hand or machine stitched? Yes, they are the Festive Friends from CoolCrafting designed by Sarah Peel. They are slightly different as they are about 30% smaller than the other Luna characters, machine stitched in cotton fabric rather than hand stitched felt, and can stand up on their own. |

I've always wanted to get involved in textile art and have plenty of supplies but need to buy some time from somewhere. Ally’s quilt top is DONE.  Now to do the back. 132 8.25” squares. Of those, 28 will be pinwheels. The other 104 will be solids from the fabric on the front. I like to make things difficult. 😂   |

I’m in a quandary. I started the Montana pocket wrap. I love the colours but I’m not so enamoured with the quality of base colour, the natural one. I feel it’s a bit heavy and the fact I’m carrying two colours behind some of the stitches makes it quite stiff. As it’s natural there are flecks and bobbles of yarn on it that looks good by itself but not with the smoothness of the colours. I’m thinking of frogging the whole lot and maybe making a vest with the natural. What would you do?  |

seaexplore it looks amazing! All that work! Whew, girl! You've been busy. gillyp you want my honest opinion? I'm loathe to frog anything when I'm that far into a project. With that said, I don't think the natural color sets off the bright colors well.

It looked really “heavy”. Do you think it will come together more if you do more of it? If not and you don’t love it, frog it. |

I think it looks beautiful, but if you're not happy with it, by all means frog it before you put much more work into it. I'm thinking a lighter neutral color might "lighten" up the look a little as well as a less-textured yarn. |

My nephew and his wife are expecting their 2nd baby in August. I'm making a blanket, but I'd love to try to make a little pair of booties. I'll have to look and see if there are tutorials for crocheting them. I don't know how to knit. |
