I do pick up/delivery of groceries on Thursday and we run our weekly menu Friday-Thursday. The new HEB ads come out on Wednesdays so I plan from that. I've found that if I have it planned and posted on the fridge we're more likely to stick to it and eat out less (it also keeps the kids from driving me crazy asking what's for dinner).

Grocery shopping is my most hated chore (even though I’ve been doing pick up since before the pandemic so I don’t actually have to go into the store except on very rare occasions). I go once every one-two weeks.
I literally cannot fathom walking into a grocery store for food every day. That seems like the third circle of hell to me and such a waste of time and resources.

We plan meals and do the bulk of our groceries once a week. We go to a smaller independent store that sells fresh produce at a better price and often look 100x better than the big store once or twice a week.
I need to get better at planning my lunches.

I agree with @myshelley - I can't fathom going to the grocery store 2-3 times a week.
I hate shopping.
I do a curbside order ever 2-3 weeks. And I've also been doing curbside for years before Pandemic. Once Fred Meyer started Click List (or whatever they call it now) I started doing that. I do go to Costco usually once a month, and sometimes I'll run into Safeway once every month or two to stock up on the couple of items I can't get at Fred Meyer. But that's about it.
On the off weeks of not shopping, I'll run to the little grocery store in my community to pick up milk and fresh veggies.
I don't menu plan. I shop to stock my freezer and pantry. That way I can have whatever I want when I feel like it.
Last night I made a pot roast with all the veggies, au jus and homemade cole slaw. That'll be enough food to last 3 more meals. Sometimes I'll make a pot of spaghetti and that'll be several meal. I usually only do 2 "big" meals a week then eat on leftovers the rest of the week.

I never have, although I admire those who are organized enough to do this. We keep all the things we like in the house and often make a dinner decision about 5 pm. For things requiring thawing before cooking we transfer from freezer to fridge the day before.

My guy is very picky so dinners are usually simple and I have most of the ingredients in the freezer/pantry at all times. He’s a meat and potatoes type of guy. I love a much wider variety so I usually have a ton of different options frozen in individual servings (love my souper cubes for making this a lot easier. I love soups, stews, nachos, tacos, pasta dishes, chilli, and more and can pull a block out the night before and warm it up in my lunch crock for amazing lunches every day.

I plan meals Friday or Saturday and put together a grocery pickup for Sunday morning.
I have a google calendar called "DINNERS" that I put the meal plan in. (That way the kids can ask Alexa what's for dinner and leave me alone.) Over the summer I listened to a podcast (maybe lazy genius?) where they recommended putting things your family really likes as reoccuring events. So, when I go to plan my meals, I often already have most of the week filled in. I may move things around or replace something if we just aren't in the mood. I think I only had to come up with 2 dinners this week.
As an added bonus, there is a meal DS loves and DH isn't fond of. I set it for a 8 week rotation. DH always complains that we "just" had this and I can show him that it was 8 weeks ago. It also keeps DS from asking for it every week...because he knows it will come up in the rotation.
