I haven't posted this week but this evening family and I are going out for Dh and my 33rd anniversary. I got my first pedicure of the season but my favorite Kate Spade flats are perfect for this occasion.  Happy Anniversary! You look great! |

chrisd , when I feel like something looks a touch frumpy, I try to do something unexpected. Like, an edgier shoe, or maybe some jewelry that’s a little more statement-y. (But, for the record, I wouldn’t call this frumpy!) Okay, the overalls were kind of scary for me to order, but Dalai Mama has some and is FREAKING ADORABLE in them. We all know I want to be just like her. 😜  I do think it loses a bit with the cardigan, and becomes a little shapeless. But it’s a nice, lightweight one, and helpful with our Utah spring weather. (As I look out the window at the new snow that fell yesterday.)  You look adorable as always. I agrreee. the sweater makes it too shapeless but I would still wear it around my house. I gave in and bought some overall shorts from Gap. Pretty sure I am going to live in them this summer. I skip the long overalls but you make me want to get them now. Hmm. Do I really need them? |

All the fun of today's outfit is in the back. The top laces up the back and the back Jean's pockets are blinged. My shoes are a black and white geometric print. Today I have lunch with a friend and a scrapbook event until 9 pm.   |

I'm not going anywhere today, I'm just working at my computer all day on a deadline and have a fire going. So at the moment (11am) I'm wearing my pajamas, oofas, and big cozy heavy sweater. But my hair looks great! I'll leave this one to your imaginations. |

Dalai Mama Would you mind linking the overalls again? I feel like I would typically say that I am "too old" to wear something so trendy.....but I had a pair of overalls during my college years and I *adored* them. Anyone have tips for finding the right overalls when you are 30 pounds heavier than your college days.....and 10 pounds heavier than your pre-Covid self?

I had a pair of shorts overalls that I lived in when I was pregnant. I was so sad when they fell apart, but I never found any I liked to replace them. That was 20 years ago and I always felt like a tagger when I wore them, I'm sure I would now as well. 😁
Yesterday I think I had on an outfit that loosely fit the prompt. I had on cuffed boyfriend jeans, a pink shirt and grey cardigan with a croc embossed flat.
Getting ready to head to the gym in something from my Mrs. David Niven cat burglar athletic collection. Tonight is Beer Hike Friday Night. Dh had a hip replacement on 1 Mar and can still only do gentle hikes, so we started Beer Hike Friday Night. We hike up some simple hill around here to watch the sunset and drink beer like teenagers. Anyway, I'm not sure what the prompts are today, so I'll check when I get home and pick an outfit that will work for Beer Hike.

But I am wearing my old navy distressed jeans, a 'weekend state of mind' sweatshirt and my leopard Vans. |
