Yes I have thought about giving up scrapbooking. Back in 2010 when I still scrapped chronologically, I felt too far behind and barely scrapped for a year. Then I attended a crop with grammadee and packed pictures I was excited about scrapping and that was the end of my chronological scrapbooks and my thoughts about quitting. Do you like to watch tv or YouTube when you scrap or do you like silence?

Never, it's the one hobby that I have been consistent with for the last 26 years. Plus I have way too much paper to stop now. lol
Do you miss going to crops, retreats, Expos etc.?

I used to listen to talk radio before podcasts were a thing. I need to hear something interesting while scrapping.

Nope, I've never been to any so it's hard for me to miss them!
Is there any technique that everyone else seems to have done that you've never tried?

Technique I've never tried - inking or painting on a layout in a mixed media way. The only ink I've put on a layout is a roller date stamp and that scares me a bit!
Question - if you're a theme scrapper, what theme are you tired of working with?
For me, it's soccer. It was DS' obsession for many years. He even won the HS state championship, so there's a lot to commemorate and celebrate, but I'm over the school colors and the embellishments!
What's that theme for you?

I'm pretty new to scrapbooking, but if I had a theme it's probably travel. Before the pandemic we would love to take even day trips around our area exploring new places.
We're getting ready to move to a new area. How do you find out about local scrapbook events or virtual events?

I went on the Creative Memories and Stamping Up website and found reps near me and contacted them. They either hold scrapping events or are pretty familiar with what's going on locally.
I don't scrapbook much any more ( read that as not at all in large albums. I do make mini books but I digress). I make a LOT of cards and donate hundreds a year. Have you ever made cards to donate?
