Let's ease into the iNSD party with some sketches.
If you have one you want to try, please share it with us here. If you see one here you like, that someone else has posted, please let us know your plans for it.
There is an April Sharing Thread for you to share your pages if you feel comfortable doing that. There will be a May sharing thread and an iNSD thread for chatting as well.
You don't need to be a member of a team to play along, but if you are a member of one of our teams, you can earn FIVE POINTS for your team for every sketch you post here. And you can earn ANOTHER FIVE POINTS if you share a LO or card based on your own--or someone else's sketch. And those points DOUBLE for Friday (for your April team), Saturday and Sunday (for your May team).

Here is a one photo sketch to get started. This is actually a partially constructed page I put together from one of The Scraproom's Freaky Fast Friday Formulas a few years ago. I never finished the page, so I added a few notes, and here it is: one photo sketch by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Here's a traveler's notebook sketch I want to try. I think it could be easily adapted to any size:

I decided to check my Pinterest board for sketches. I needed something with lots of photos because I need to scrap Day in the Life. I found this one that was from Scrapbooks etc which has been defunct for years. I think I will make it into a double page layout to fit all my photos. I always struggle with 2-photo layouts especially with one vertical, one horizontal so I'm going to give this sketch a whirl - it's from the 4x6 photo sketch blog

I have 10 sketches teed up for the weekend - but I doubt I'll post them all Here's my first - I like the 3 square photos, but admit I will probably use a 4x6 plus a 3x4 instead, because it's just the size I scrap! sketch insd 2021 by kirstendrew, on Flickr

grammadee - if I'm counting easy peasy - I assume I can only claim the 5 for posting not the 5 for making a layout from the sketch, correct?

I still have some Easter photos to scrap, and I found this gorgeous LO online: Natalie DeSousa - Pinkfresh Studio. Those colours!! I made a sketch from it to scraplift: If any digi scrappers want the Photoshop template I made, let me know and I will Dropbox it to you.

Most of my pages are 12x 12, but this month I hope to put together 31 pages for my 6x8 flip book, so I need inspiration for rectangular pages. Found this sketch when I checked out the brand new May 2021 Page Maps. It is for 8 12 x 11, but pretty easy to adapt to my smaller page. Thinking you might like this, too, Linda and anyone else who does this size and shape all the time... Page maps May sketch by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Here is my 6x8 page using that Page Maps sketch, first one in the book I am putting together for my dgs. When he was 3 years old, he gave me his toy donkey, Jack, to take with me on my cruise, so that I would remember him while I was gone. This SS flip book will be all about Jack's adventures. Jack & friends by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Love your sketch, Linda. Think I can use that for one of my Jack pages, too.

what a fun book that'll be for your DGS and his donkey! How sweet he was to lend the donkey to you for the cruise grammadee

Used this sketch for a layout but left off the banner and switched out the star for a cluster of circles.

So many cool sketches, so little time! I am going to copy all of these sketches into a Word document so I can print them off all at once, I think.

I completed my 2nd sketch, turning it on it's side here: layout birthday clowns by kirstendrew, on Flickr It was an easier to use sketch than I expected, but 3 4x6 photos are definitely too big.
