Crop and Inspire/Crop and Create - are they worth the price?

I’m not really a fan of giving alumni preferred registration for events that sell out quickly. I would think this way just makes more work for them if they are legitimately going to check for alumni status and subsequently cancel registration.

I'm hoping to sign up this evening. A friend is going to as well. I'm thinking maybe we need to do a "slumber party" that weekend!

I can only imagine they're gonna have a lottttt of unhappy customers who sign up early, get their place cancelled..and then it sells out before they can repurchase because they thought they were fine.

They should've either done an email sign up for past participants (assuming emails had been collected) or had a specific time period for alumni "this day to this day" and then taken down the link in between times.

I did the C&C Delivered last November. I live in southern New England, I probably would not travel to a Crop and Create in Canada. So this was my chance to participate. Since November, I have done the C&C Cardmaking Delivered and the April C&C Delivered. I really enjoyed all of the weekends.

The community is so very welcoming and fun. I love that all of the content is accessible online, especially because I can't always keep up. And in November I was under the weather and just watched the second day.

As for the value, for me it was a no brainer. With the Covid quarantining, I'm getting one and a half to two months to the "gallon" (fill up), and not spending as much money as pre Covid. The events gave me a chance to take classes with others together, yet apart.

Catherine, Jen and Jen run the events so well. I see they keep improving every time. And they, and the group, are so helpful if you have a question.

I gave my November event Vicki Boutin album to my soon to be daughter in law. Along with a paper trimmer, adhesive and a scrapbooking tote. Hoping it will become a gateway drug for her!?! She was thrilled.

I registered again just now , 🤞 that I got in.

I registered for the card event at 8:00 p.m. and got the google response at 8:00 and 13 seconds. Excited!

Registered for the scrapbook one in November. Looking forward to it.

Registered for the November weekend! Honestly I'll probably forget about it until the box of goods shows up on my doorstep lol. It'll be a nice surprise come this Fall.

I signed up for the October and the holiday one! Happy Mother’s Day and birthday to me LOL

I registered as soon as it opened for alumni. Just the card one. Loved it last time and I really like all the teachers.

By the way I accidentally registered early for the first cardmaking event this past spring and they did not cancel my registration.

I decided to (try) to register for both November events. This will be my first time participating in a Crop & Create event, they sound great and I look forward to learning new techniques and getting scrappy before the holidays…I hope I get in!!!!

I got the return email from filling out the Google registration, but I guess i won’t know if I got into the classes until I get the invoice. Fingers crossed!!!!!
