What are the current trends? I haven’t seen any owls, sloths, cacti, or llamas lately. No mustaches or chandeliers. Are we finally getting away from random icons or am I just missing the new batch?
I’m seeing some cheetah/leopard print lately. And the ubiquitous gnomes. What other trends are you seeing?

Rainbows seem to be everywhere right, as well as butterflies. Most of the new AC collections are full of bright colors, which I love.
I’ve noticed a lot of collections have moved away from the truly obscure motifs and/or random animals. I think a new collection has a zebra print on pink, which is odd, but I’m hoping the collections with 12-15 random motifs are a thing of the past.

Those wonky rainbows and I’ve seen a few pineapples. Not sure what else.

Still lots of butterflies, but that's never a bad thing in my book!

I don't think that trend will ever die...manufacturers think women are all about pink. I was looking to buy tools the other day, and they had a set of tools for women. They were the same as the tools for men, but they were pink. REALLY? I'm a girly girl, love dresses and jewelry, but what is most important to me about a tool is that it works. And I don't overpay for it.

I have seen a few papers with masks on them. I got a piece of Christmas paper and the reindeer had masks on. I also saw a card with a masked stick figure and it said "I miss your face."
Agree on the wonky rainbows but they don't seem new, just prolonged.
Will be interested to see what trends you all notice.

Yes! The rainbows. Always drawn the same way.
I think butterflies and birds have been around all through the past 20 years but I remember a year when owls were on everything.
There are a lot of tigers/leopards/Jaguars, but since I love big cats and my school mascot is a Jaguar, I’m down with it.
The only thing that is hitting me over the head right now are the darn gnomes. I don’t hate them but I have no use for them.
I do think the color schemes are getting more diverse. I still wish there were more unisex kid lines (So. Much. Pink.)

Hand stitching with embroidery floss. I'm seeing (and I'm doing it, too) a lot! I love the dimension and texture it gives. Really, really eye catching, too! Paige Evans has some jaw-dropping scrapbook layouts using this technique.

Gnomes, rainbows, lemons, bees
Sloths seem on the downward trend, but are still around. Coffee is still everywhere.

Are gemstones and succulents still a thing? I feel like I see them a lot in more planner focused products but there's so much overlap...

Bees, yellow, grey seem to be the thing right now Considering that yellow & gray are the Pantone colors this year, it's not surprising to see bees surging in popularity given their association to those colors. I had the same thought when I saw the new Simple Stories lemon collection - they are jumping on the Pantone trend wagon.

Gnomes, rainbows, lots of florals (especially fussy cuttable papers), and I think bees might be the new butterflies.

I do think the color schemes are getting more diverse. I still wish there were more unisex kid lines (So. Much. Pink.) Agreed, it still has a ways to go but it's nice to it starting to happen. And yes to the too much pink. Hand stitching with embroidery floss. I am loving the embroidery floss stitching everywhere! I definitely want to try this out. And as much as I like rainbows, I'm over it and would like to see other designs.

I'm seeing a lot of bees, lemons and geometric shapes associated with succulents.
I don't mind any of these right now until I get sick of seeing them everywhere...like those wonky rainbows. lol

Bees, yellow, grey seem to be the thing right now My girlfriend crocheted a scarf for another friend of hers using yellow and grey yarn. It was so pretty. Its a neat combination.

Card maker here. Bees and succulents. Lemons seem to be on the rise, too A quick visit to a LSS that I don't get to very often proved that this is very true, they have a lot of brands that I never see anywhere else and there was a lot of lemons and bees around. They also had a lot of lines with toadstools and fairies, pastels seemed to be everywhere too.

Lemons is another good one. There’ve been a few collections recently with lemons.

And I don't overpay for it. Pink tools have their uses - a lot of men I know won't use pink tools, which means the women in their lives don't have to worry about missing tools because the men "forget to put them back" when they are finished using them. That being said, my older brother wanted to take my old school pink cutterbee utility tool. He's a general contractor and his reasoning was that it wouldn't get lost on the job site AND the guys he worked with wouldn't borrow (and then walk off) with it.

I feel like in winter/spring scrapbooking the bad stuff was a big trend. I don’t know if that happens every winter but also every kit I get had at least one release.

I'm sensing some wonky rainbow hate here. Oh well, I like them, and I have lots of them in kits I've bought recently, so....... Current trends I've seen in digital lines: rainbows (ha!) lemons flower stickers pot plants coffee I think the COVID themed stuff is finally starting to die off
