f my house were "incomplete" it would make me feel really antsy. I like getting a job DONE and over. Yes - I'm a let's just get it done sort also. DH is not and moving is one of those times that make that difficult. Last move we rented a big Penske truck and moved everything in one weekend and then I had the house put to rights in a week except for DHs space. This move we used our own trailer and didn't have a teenage boy to help us...and we've been moving stuff since January and have been living here since late February...and there's still more stuff in two sheds and a carport plus DH still hasn't arrange for movers for the stuff we couldn't move ourselves - my dreser, our headboard, the couch/love seat/recliner, the sideboard and hutch, a HUGE drafting table (I've helped move that before - never again), dh's 2 desks and 2 heavy tables...plus there are still 4 vehicles over there none of which currently run (DH's truck, DS's truck, DD's truck, and DH's project Mustang). Ugh... and the garage is full of his stuff here that he still needs to bring up to his space but there isn't room yet and the guest room has overflow boxes from his space and so does the upstairs hallway (ok - the girls have boxes there also). I have a couple of totes to unpack in the craft room but I'm waiting on cube unit assembly but otherwise I've been unpacked for ages. |

With only a couple of days left in the month, how are we all going?
I'm feeling under the weather and battling through a cold, my first one in probably close to two years thanks to spending so much of last year in lockdown, and I'm making a terrible patient, I'd forgotten what it was like to not be able to breathe properly, etc. So I've finished work for the week and plan to hide out in my scrappy space for some time this afternoon. I'm not sure if I'm up to making anything so I might just organise, but we'll see what happens.

Thanks Linda, like I said, I'm a miserable patient! I managed to make a pocket page last night, something about the smaller canvas size in each pocket made it more manageable. I have a couple more to catch up on in my pl album so I'm hoping to work on those today.

Sorry you're not well Chinagirl828! I hope to get myself sat down for some scrapping this weekend. I have a 1/2 done layout on my desk and last night I pencilled out journaling which means that the "hard work" is over. Right now I'm baking peanut butter cookies, and I have some laundry to get done, but then - if I haven't decided 8:30 sounds like a good bedtime  - I'll get it finished! |
