postimg.cc/filesi am HOPELESSLY. And I want so badly to post my photo. When I chose my image in Postimage, I could not find the link to click and get the Hotlinks screen. And I feel really dumb right now😞 images: images:
FINALLY!! And, yes, I am shouting! I have tried so many times to post this, I lost count. This is an arrangement at my Church that I did 2 weeks ago for a wedding service. It is a bit larger than the normal Sunday arrangements, but was left in place for the service the following day. Due to COVID, we have not had flowers in the .church for over a year. It was my absolute joy to be able to “play” with the flowers again.

Rhododendrons. Stages of growth. I took these pictures yesterday. Also I didn’t realize pics from Tapatalk were ok! I went and deleted them. 🤦🏻♀️

Based upon yesterday's poll, let's give this monthly thread a go and see if it takes hold. If not, no harm, no foul. Phone pics? Yes. DSLR pics? Yes. Point and shoot pics? Yes. Out of focus pics? Yes. Award-worthy pics? Yes. Pics of your children, grandchildren, spouse, partner? Yes. Your holiday/vacation, your food, flowers, etc...yes. Your dog, cat, llama, cow, chickens? Yes! No rules other than: 1. Please be considerate of others when posting. and2. Please either host your images elsewhere (such as postimages.org) or use Tapatalk to upload so that we do not use the little bandwidth available for this forum. Each month's thread will have directions for posting from postimages and Tapatalk in the first post. To use postimages.org to host your photos (which literally, despite the directions below, takes just a minute):1. Make an account on their site. if you're concerned about privacy, choose something other than your real name as your "nickname" on the site. 2. Upload your images to the site. Just click on the "choose images" button, navigate to where you keep your photos on your device (phone, table, laptop, or desktop), and select the images you want to upload. You can upload them one at a time, or select many to upload at one time. If you have problems with this, please google for instructions how to do so from your device. 3. Select "my images" at the top of your screen, and click into the image you'd like to share. 4. Copy the "HOTLINK FOR FORUMS" url for that photo, then paste it into a reply here and VOILA. You are done! To use Tapatalk to post your images (from monklady) Even if you never use it for reading the board, or for posting anything else, it is the easiest way to post photos. You just click the photo icon after you’ve opened the reply box, choose your photo, choose your size (the one I just posted is “small”), wait for it to upload, click “reply”, done. If I can do it with no problem then anyone can do it. 🤪 Also, it would be nice if you told us a bit about your image and/or supply some context. ___________________________________________________ I'll start this month's thread off with a pic I took yesterday. After a several year hiatus from my DSLR, I picked my camera up again the beginning of last month. My favorite subject is flowers, specifically close up/macro shots. My camera is 12 years old and still works like a champ, hurray! And my lenses are also happy, double hurray! I am a fiend for flowers and you can often find me wandering parks and public gardens in the spring and summer. I also often buy perennials at the nursery for the specific purpose of photographing them. This columbine is one of those plants. I will give it away when it's done blooming this year, as I don't do pink in my terrace "garden." I wish I lived close by. I would love, love having this beauty in my garden.

Two things I’d really like to learn are flower arranging and cake decorating. I am hopelessly unskilled at both.

I love everyones' photos !!!! This precious, 10-year-old guy adopted us back in September. He was going to be a foster, but we fell sooo in love with him, we never wanted him to go anywhere else! We've had the bed he's lying on for a few years---it makes DH and I laugh how he just happens to "match" it perfectly...pawfectly.

Well done on posting GamGam and your flowers are simply stunning! I would love to have that skill but I don’t nor do I have the patience to learn. Rhododendrons are my favourite shrub jenjie.

I saw this last night... a full double rainbow! I parked the car so I could see the car and take some pics. Pic #2 - I was taking video when it started to fade.

Not a great photo, but funny. My son noticed the inflatable pool box and didn't move for almost 30 minutes. We were worried about not finding the right one because he is rough on things. Last year we resorted to eBay and it didn't last the summer! I'm going to hide it before he gets home. And yes he desperately needs a haircut, but they are a battle.

My older Endless Summer Hydrangea this afternoon. I've had this plant since 2016. There will be blooms into the Fall. This year our January was so mild I even had several blooms then!

Graduation!! I am the mom of three college graduates. The top pic is myself and ex…along with his new wife and one of my daughters. I thought it was a nice photo and am glad there’s peace and goodwill that allowed it to happen. So important for the kids…even grown kids. My DS thanked me for that today. This one will have her Master’s in July and closed on her first house earlier this week. An exhausting day. I’ve been going for almost 21hours

The photo is beautiful but I am just amazed that your Endless Summer looks like that. Around Zone 4B (Minneapolis/St. Paul) we call them "Endless Bummer" because no one can seem to get them to rebloom after you buy them, they just have the green leaves, etc. Nice job!

DD15 is in week 2 of circus performances, so there are no shortage of photos. This act is called Four Girl Spinning Cube "a large hollow and sideless three dimensional aerial cube upon and through which performers exhibit various holds and poses. Like contortion, but in the air." In this this photo I captured, she has the dark hair/braids facing the camera. Love this act!

We are in zone 9, and while they look so perky and green right now, by September they will look a bit more rough around the edges. Endless summer is a good name for what we live with down here! The photo of your daughter's performance is amazing! She - as well as you - must have nerves of steel! Does she plan to make this a career?

Oh no, this was on page 3...we can do better than that! Don't some of y'all have Mother's Day (or other) photos to share?!? I had a really lovely FaceTime brunch with my son and his partner on Sunday. Later in the afternoon I sat outside on my terrace with a glass of rose and a crochet project. I love love LOVE this time of year. Days still getting longer, and temps comfortable for hanging outside. While no great piece of art, this was the view of DT Seattle from my lounge chair Sunday afternoon:
