www.michaels.com/jumbo-tape-refill-by-recollections/10399054.htmlThis is what I currently use and apparently it’s not only out of stock but gone for good. I detest the tape that comes in those three packs of refill. I do use a creative memories tape runner when making cards but that again runs out pretty quickly. What do you all use? I had that big scotch one that’s pink but I didn’t like the way it felt in my hand and I thought there was a smaller one with the same brand but I don’t seem to be able to find it Looking for some better suggestions.

I use the big pink Scotch thing But you might be thinking of the Xyron Mega Runner or the Scrapbook Adhesives EZ Runner Grand. I believe they are both smaller than the Scotch ATG, although I think the refills are smaller, too.

The yellow atg gun (1/2") is my main.
I do have the best adhesive ever for wet glue. I also have some thinner scortape rolls (1/8" 1/4").

I'd keep trying to get used to your pink ATG. Honestly, the value is the best out there and nothing has fallen off my pages. I've been using mine for at least 10 years.

Another vote for the ATG gun. I have the red one, I’ve been using it for about 15 years. I laughed when a friend showed me hers, but it’s been one of the best investments ever. There is a little bit of a learning curve, make a check mark at the end to break the tape. I’ve been really happy with mine. It holds really well, but on cardstock you can readjust if you put something down lightly.

ATG is definitely the best quality for your buck, but I know it's just not usable for some scrappers. angel97701 just bought a smaller adhesive "gun" - which one was it, and are you enjoying it???

I've fallen out of love with my pink ATG, the gun won't wind properly and I've wasted more rolls of adhesive than I care to admit trying to fix it. Right now I'm searching for "the one" and am trying sb.com permanent adhesive runner and the scotch adhesive runner (red one) and we'll see. I thought Gina K had a good one but too much of the product stays on the winding strip so lots of waste. This could be user error though.

I use the red scotch ones, too, that you can pick up in the drug store, market, wherever. They're small, so they go fast, but I've been happy with them.

I have the red ATG (1/4") and have used it for the past 15+ years. I do have the Tombow tape runner (the blue one) that I used to use for card classes when I went to them in person and didn't want to take my ATG. I don't suggest the Tombow because the adhesive gets stuck on the end and builds up if you don't clean it off regularly. I know quite a few people that like the Kokuyo Dotliner, but I've never tried it.

Another pink atg user here. I’ve been using the same one for about 10 years now and have never had the problems that some people mention. I switched to tape jungle adhesive and haven’t had a problem with that either. I feel like the smaller tape runners need to be replaced more often. An atg roll lasts quite a while. Sorry I don’t have any other suggestions. I’m happy with mine.

I don't like the ATG - it's just not comfortable for me. I used to use the Herma dotto and/or the CM tape runner, but stuff that I had used the Herma dotto on started falling off my pages. The things I used the CM tape runner on were secure, but that stuff runs out way too fast and it's expensive. Don't even get me started on the number of times they changed the dispenser...aaaargggh!
I switched several years ago to the Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z Runner, and I love it! The refills hold a lot so they last a while, and the adhesive itself is great. Very much like the CM tape runner, actually (but way less expensive and less hassle).

I used to like the Scrapbook Adhesives red tape runner, but it wasn't refillable, and somewhere along the way I got a bad batch and nothing stayed stuck down. I have since used their refillable ones and they are okay. I really like their permanent "dot" runner for sticking on titles and backing Silhouette cuts. I find it less messy than wet glue. Mostly I just use Scortape. It is super sticky, so once it is down, that is it, and sometimes it feels wildly inefficient to tear it, stick it, peel off the backing, toss the backing, and stick it to my page, but I am not a fast scrapper anyway. I can sometimes get it on sale, I have it in a number of widths and it sticks really well.

I use the ATG adhesive, but not the gun. I wasted too much adhesive trying to load it. I mostly do pocket scrapping, and it was too awkward for me when I wanted to adhere small pieces.

Forgot to add I recently started using tape from AJ Sign World Store on Amazon. It sticks very well. You have to be sure you place your items correctly, because there's no moving them one they are on the paper.

I've been scrapbooking since 1996, and use double sided sticky squares. Over the years, I've used different brands, some have more "sticky" than others.
When Joann has a 60% off coupon, that is what I usually buy.....since they never seem to get anything new in the scrapbook department. Seriously they've had the same stickers and papers for years.

ATG’s don’t work for my hand (a bit of arthritis/remnants of an old, minor injury) and prefer a smaller size anyway, so use an old style rectangular (Pez dispenser shaped) pink Tombow dot runner that’s not sold any more. When I heard they were discontinuing it I bought tons of refills.
If I didn’t have those I’d use the larger size Kokuyo dot runner. I tried both sizes at an LSS and the slightly larger one was very comfortable. I also liked how the adhesive could be rubbed off if it got anywhere it shouldn’t be or I changed my mind, but was permanent after being pressed down - very similar to my very old Tombow.
