Is anyone seeing an American Crafts brand that could still be used for a Halloween release this year? I see no new product releases at all from DCWV although they usually have at least a couple of paper stacks. I doubt Maggie Holmes would fit with this theme. Pebbles seems to have been removed from the board. Eep. I just noticed a few random DCWV sticker sheets in the Coming Soon section of sb.com. They have foiling and holographic accents. Maybe they will be attached to a paper pad?! The skulls/flowers are kinda different, "haunted harvest." www.scrapbook.com/store/ac-99001001.html?o=24&r=1&t23=coming+soonOooh, nice! Thanks, scrapcat. This looks promising. I can't find anything else about Haunted Harvest just yet but I'm guessing we'll know more in a few days... I don't think these will be included in the pad. Looks like AC are expanding the product offer for DCWV. I would love some ephemera packs in the future.

Yes to more knitterly designs Yes, yes, yes! Also, can someone get on top of the cabled knits file? I'd love to buy some cable texture knit design papers. Come one, scrapbook paper companies, you can do it... Halloween is a hated 'holiday' for me so I have next to nothing in my stash but with a little guy I love this collection. It's Halloweenish but not full of skulls and creepiness. Aww, I have a bizarre love for Halloween. I'm the sole Halloween fan in my nook of the world but I'll gladly take the creepy stuff and love you only the sweet Halloween vibes. Are you taking your little guy trick or treating this year? I love the little witch girls and the Ouija board. This collection made me realise that scrapbook lines usually don't feature ouija boards. It hadn't occurred to me before. I wonder why. Maybe it's a step too far for some Christians/Christian designers in a Christian-dominated industry and craft? Not sure. But I'd love more of them!

I don't need any more Halloween paper but I have a black cat and I love bats (one of my favorite attractions at the zoo) so I always buy any black cat or bat paper I see.
One of the lines here (I'm too lazy to go back through the thread and look) has dancing skeletons, though, and I love that paper so much.

DCWV have some more "extra" products showing up for the 2021 Halloween pads (sticker books)... There are 2 cutesy/child-centric lines (oand a grown-up line with the baroque vanitas thematic so far. First glimpse of Halloween Party (same collection name as Echo Park this year - perfect for Crate Paper fans): First glimpse of Halloween Town: First glimpse of Haunted Harvest (thanks scrapcat):

For those who enjoy versatile products and are big on the nocturnal aspect of Halloween, going to leave the flip-through of the gorgeous DCWV Luna pad that was released earlier this year (with loads of beautiful blue shades):

I don't like the paper, but I like the die cuts.
For those who enjoy versatile products and are big on the nocturnal aspect of Halloween, going to leave the flip-through of the gorgeous DCWV Luna pad that was released earlier this year I love that paper! It would be awesome for Comic Con. I bought some gorgeous Ella and Viv paper like that from scrapbook.com thinking my daughter would love it, She told me she was more of a purple galaxy girl.
ETA: I love the haunted harvest stickers and the jack o'lantern stickers are always good to have.

Sorry for posting if it is not wanted but I found this Bella BLVD collection on clearance at scrapbook.com, it’s an older one. It’s a bundle that has 65 dollars worth of things for 13.49. Just wanted to put it out there if someone could use it. ETA it’s the Sweet and spooky collection and even comes with a 12x12 chipboard sheet. www.scrapbook.com/store/bla-bb2142.htmlAbsolutely NO need to apologize for posting! I love this collection---especially the "reminisce" papers....I reallllly want those for me, and a second set for a dear friend who LOVES all things vintage! A few years ago, I made her a small album using all the vintage, kitsch papers and stickers and she has thanked me a million times ETA: bummer, the "reminisce" is out of stock...hopefully they'll have more someday.

Love the vintage feel of this Prima line, but could do with less pink. What is it with Prima and all the Pink???

I would like it so much more without all of the pink. Halloween isn't soft and sweet, it's spooky!

Pink used to be a boy's colour as it is diluted red, the colour of knighthood. It only changed in the 20th century. For many centuries, it was the opposite of the current feminine/masculine divide. Where I live, men still wear pink shirts and sweaters. I understand the general fatigue with pink in scrapbooking but yeah, let's recapture pink for less "girly" ideals! I think this particular shade of pink works well for Prima's Halloween line. It's dreamy with the celestial elements like the vintage moon in the clouds and it fits in as a diluted blood shade, too. An actual red would've changed the vibe of this line far too much. It's dusty, powdery, muted. I love the soft orange here as well.

It's not about anything being gendered to me, in fact I don't believe in assigning gender to color (or to most things) at all. I'm just not a fan of pink being used for Halloween, personal preference. Though I guess I'm not really a pink fan in general so my bias lies there in general.

I think the pink works for this Halloween line, and I am so over pink... and I have two girl children.
Maybe because it's not floral? I have so much pink scrapbook stuff (it breeds!) that even my boy pages are starting to have pink in them...
I have a hard time matching my Halloween photos to Halloween papers (because my kids are never wearing orange or purple or lime green costumes) I wonder if a more muted paper would be easier to use...

Hmmm..I'm on the fence. I don't usually like too much pink in my scrapbooking, but I do like the cutesy, vintage halloween design of some of the papers. I will prob just pick up a piece or 2, trying to remember if you can buy Prima in individual sheets or is it just sold by collection?! I like the stars sheet, would def use that over and again. My last order with sb.com I added some of the Carta Bella Halloween Market collection bcz I hadn't picked that up last season. Getting ready for some October scrapping soon!

Thirty-One also comes in 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6 pads. Anyone interested in a hands-on look at the collection which is already proving to be popular with the Prima crowd, here's a chatty walk-through:
