I wish I had procrastinated today and enjoyed the weather. I've been correcting the past six hours correcting papers/speeches. I'm now taking a 1/2 hour break and will work a few more hours. I can't wait for this year to be over.

Packing up all the donations I’ve gathered today. I feel good about cleaning and organizing but have no desire for this final step of packing up and taking to the car.

You guys are my people!
I finally made myself upload and order some photos. Future Me with thank Now Me when I go to scrap and have them.
Tried (really tried! No luck, tho) to find jeans to order. Why is everything distressed? I don't want the holes already in them. I don't want my hem to be raw, with strings dangling already. Hell, I could buy a five dollar pair of jeans at any thrift, put gaping holes in the front thigh area, and cut all the damn hemming off and suddenly they'd be $45 jeans. Dang, I think I need to start yelling for kids to get off my lawn. 😁

I am procrastinating organizing my bedroom, bathroom and craft supplies. This summer when DH is off I want to turn 2 bedrooms into guest rooms and organize my own room.
I say this summer because while I could just do it, I need someone else to keep me motivated. My self motivation is sorely lacking.

I am procrastinating everything related to cleaning, especially the shower.
I am also procrastinating taking my stuff to Goodwill.

I have to go and buy a new washing machine. The one I have had since 1999 has finally stopped permanently I’m afraid. Last time the technician was out he told me the next time it needed looking at will be the last time.
So my dilemma is what type of machine do I want? I can see lots of good things with a front loader and not so many with a top loader. I’m am on the short side and looking into some top loaders the bottom of it seems a long way down but then I will just about be on my knees to empty a front loader.
Oh decisions decisions. I do have to make a decision soon as I’m not really looking forward to go to the laundromat for long.

The list is long: Need to call the car rental place since my truck was hit and going in the shop tonight.
Need to get dog's nails cut. Took him to Petsmart but the idiots in there couldn't do it.
Need to register our dog with the AKA thingy... I have until July before the rate goes up. Just to get his heritage stuff... no interest in really participating.
I have several doctors appointments on Friday and need to get those times in order.. I made the appointments but can't find my note I wrote down the times.
Order a wedding present for a family friend. It's gonna be late because it is a handmade pottery vase from the Ukraine (I just found it recently) and need to get a little something from their registry.
What else is there.. .I know there is more. Ugggg. I hate when I get like this. But to my credit, I TRIED to get some of this done.. haha
Edited: Thanks for this post... got my car rental all situated. I requested the fanciest car that the insurance will pay in full for.. HAHAHA..

Clearing my mom's house of 60 years of clutter. That job is way, WAY beyond my thought capacity right now. She's still living there, but is 90 and ailing so the sooner we get to it the better, but...

This was satisfying to read. Here’s a partial list: 1. Setting up my vanity for morning prep. 2. Paying two bills. 3. Buying underwear that fits. 4. Cleaning my bathroom sink and floor. 5. Finishing a report. 6. Cleaning up the scrapbook studio. 7. Talking to my brother about something. 8. Putting my winter stuff that I already removed from my dresser into the bins I bought to store it. 9. Separating the now-too-big clothes and sending them on their way. 10. Booking accommodations for my UK trip in October.

Probably my spare/craft room. I guess I haven't truly decided what I want it to be when it grows up, so I take stuff out to reorganize, change my mind and do it again. In between is a mess. Right now I'm contemplating removing a desk that is under a window and replacing it with a pull out love seat in case of guest(s). But the desk was my mothers (and it's cool!) and the kids are still deciding if they want me to save it for one of them. So it sits. I'm okay with that for now. That shouldn't keep me from completing the rest of the room but it seems to be doing just that. Or maybe it's just another (lazy) excuse.

Clearing my mom's house of 60 years of clutter. Ugh! I would procrastinate the hell out of that. I helped with my MIL's home, hoarder-ish, a nightmare. Years later I helped my mom with hers. Neat as a pin but when stuff was taken from (also neat) closets it was AMAZING the amount of stuff she had. Not fun either. Then a few years later, my move. XDH left most of his crap behind for me to care for. or not. House, barn and out-bulidings. I'm done. In more than one way. LOL I never want to do that again and hope to make it easy as possible on my kids when the time comes.

I'm thinking that, for my daughter and grandsons' sakes, I'm going to hop on the Swedish Death Cleaning train. I agree with you 100%...I never want to put this kind of burden on any of them.
