UPDATE: the teams have been formed. Thanks for signing up for June.
June is sneaking up on us. Time to set up new scrappy teams. As a team member, you will earn points for your team whenever you post a challenge, take on a challenge of your own of someone else's, or meet any of the special requirements set within the challenge. Earn points for making cards or pages or ATC's, home decor or other projects. Get--and give--support from/for team mates.
To be on a June team, you need to reply to this thread letting us know you want to join. At end of day Monday, May 31st, I will divide all the names into two teams, and set up the June challenge threads. All team members will have until end of day Thursday, June 3rd to post their challenges. And we have all month to play with them.

Linda - root on your team then! Lots of us don't score many points in a month. You can always score with the no-spend challenge, right? I also think you have every right to rest on your laurels...you've been very inspiring to us to get our stories told! I'm in!

If I can be forgiven for not commenting on everyone’s work I will sign up for June. I do enjoy chatting and I usually earn a fair number of points between cards and crochet but I feel bad because I’m so inconsistent about leaving love for others. Sorry...

I am interested but feel I might need a mentor to help me out in counting points and understanding exactly what meets requirements. Anyone willing to guide me through my initial month and answer my (most probably endless) questions? I think once I make it through the first month I will understand the process better. Okay grammadee I have done my homework and nylene has been very helpful and offered to mentor me throughout the month. Hopefully my team leader will be willing to work with me as well to set me on the right path. Count me in. |

Ah, MARIBETHR , you got me excited about this month and I have decided to sign up. I won't accomplish much because I plan to take all my book binding stuff and some card making stuff to CA with us to have some fun with Sammie and Anj. I need to brush up on my forgotten skills, so will probably not scrap until we return home. But...I am in and will do what I can! joblackford, I have sometimes not signed up because I know I don't have time to leave comments on every project posted. I think we just do our best and hope everyone understands. |

It's all in good fun and no one ever questions anyone else's points. TBH we're all too busy wishing we'd kept track of our own points as we went along... Top tip, keep track as you go, even if you're not certain of whether you got the points calculated exactly right. It's a right royal pain in the behind to get to the 27th of the month without making any notes... (oops, I did it again!) |

joblackford, you are so sweet! I did get a good chuckle over your comment about being too busy wishing we had kept track of our own points to worry about anyone else's points. I wish I weren't such a procrastinator! Good luck adding them all up now. LOL

I have never heard anyone say that someone ELSE let them down on a team. I think we all do what we can in any given month, and I hope being on a team adds some fun and encouragement to the equation and not too much stress. I’m in. Maybe I’ll finally print and scrap the second half of 2020 (Haha who am I kidding!) But hoping to scrap May and keep 2021 current which gets harder in the summer because there’s so much going on to scrap. |

help me out in counting points and understanding exactly what meets requirements I just wanted to add to nylene 's help that a lot of us work "backwards" in our use of the challenges - AFTER I finish a layout, I go BACK and see if I accomplished any challenges for points  I do try to keep some in mind when I start a layout (like, birthdays for the Donna challenge this month, or using watercolour this month) but most of my points I get by chance. The challenges are supposed to be there to inspire you, but not overwhelm - and if you look at the whole huge list it definitely hits overwhelming! |

Thank you kitbop, yes, that will be my approach, I have always done that when I play Calvinball. I just make my projects and then look and see if there are any points.
