I bought the Wild Asparagus line yesterday after seeing the thread about it lol. I also bought some of the Simple Stories re-release to do a mini album of our beach vacation in July.

My dd needed acrylic paint, and Create-for-Less has free shipping if you spend $100, so I stocked up on cardstock...
I also pre-ordered Family Game Night by Simple Stories but it seems like it won't be here in May like originally planned (there aren't even any blog or Instagram posts showing it in use yet).

My most recent order was from ACOT. I got some Nuvo drops for my mom for mothers day. I got an album and page protectors. I also picked up a few clearance sheets of paper - they have a collection from Fancy Pants about traveling/airplanes that I scooped up on clearance.

I just received my order from ACOT of 158 sheets of Bazzill cardstock in reds, greens, oranges, golds, whites. I'm going to be ready for Christmas cards and I hope to FINALLY use those Elizabeth Craft planner dies I bought a year ago for a December Daily type book. I also purchased two collection kits, My Dog by Echo Park and Craft and Create (a Steve Duncan line) by Carta Bella.
Oh, and I just got my Club Echo Park summer kit in the mail. Thinking about cancelling that and subscribing to the EP Cardmakers Club kit. Anyone here got that? How is it?

I do very little shopping these days, but recently I bought more of the Queen & Co. Foundation dies. They just released some new ones. They work especially well for card making, but the Foundation dies can also be used for scrapbooking.

And while I was at it, I also bought this corner punch because I have wanted one forever. Just don't ask me if I have actually used it yet I have that punch! I don't use it that often, but when I do I love it, and don't regret buying it one bit. I got mine when they used to sell Martha Stewart version at Michaels.

I just ordered the Sizzix Peony Pop-Up metal die that Miss Whidden uses in this video. I also ordered several items and the paper pads from the new Pinkfresh Studio Happy Blooms collection.

I went to Joann last week and got 3 Damask Love papers with Hawaiian kinds of prints, some unicorn sparkle cloud paper (it’s like a cotton candy/dreamworld sky), a bee paper, and a yellow hexie/honeycomb. I already used up all of the DL papers and most of the coordinating cardstock making cards. I have some Concord &9th alpha dies coming too. Today I watched some videos so I want to buy all the things, but I’m also exhausted by trying to finish all my WIPs which makes me want to not buy anything ever again. Oh no! Do you HAVE to finish your WIP right now? Can you put them aside and spend time making something that makes you happy, then try again with the WIP in a couple days? Or maybe use a "reward" system? Every WIP you finish you get something new, or time with something you enjoy, etc.? I've found doing creative things I "have to do" quickly kills the joy in creating. I really envy those that are able to make their hobby their work and don't get burned out to the point of quitting said hobby.

Pray tell, AussieMeg, what does a digital scrapper do with cut files? Well, as I found out..... they come as a png file as well as a svg file, so I can use the png file in Photoshop. I was very excited, because "cut files" are few and far between in digi circles. Not anymore! TONS of Etsy cut file shops include pngs.

I really want the new spring collection by Pinkfresh Studio. I'm happy to see it's included in the sneak peeks of the June Hip Kit Club kit. I'm trying really hard to curtail my fun money spending right now as we're going on vacation next month. I did get some cute yellow "walking shoes" in preparation. Ryann, where are you seeing the Hip Kit Club sneaks? TIA!

I don't see anywhere for me to grab a link to it directly, but if you go to their page & click on the "Announcements" tab, it's the first one that I see (dated May 25).

Thanks I definitely could leave them and nothing bad would happen, or do a little and then do something more fun. They're all cards that I started last year and ran out of steam on... and then the holiday passed me by and there was no rush any more... not much point in paying etsy to list my father's day cards the week of the holiday. One of the downsides of creative self-employment - it's all on me. But I just have to remember that the only real pressure is coming from inside my own head. Unfinished stuff just bugs me. I want it to be done. I just don't really want to do it! So I do something else. It's fine. I'm just trying to figure out what I *should* be doing vs what I want to do right now, both in my fun crafting and in my crafting for money. Leaving things half done is totally my MO, but it also drives me crazy. I think I want a new supply but when I get it I realize I still have 10 other things I could be finishing, which is why I try not to buy things unless they are necessary and I'm ready to use them up asap.

Two ink pad organizers from Scrapbook.com, they won't hold my entire ink collection but will clear up desk space to hold my frequently used colors.
I also added a few pieces of paper that were on my list-only 5 or 6 pieces. THAT is restraint for this paper loving fool!!
I also recently purchased the Elle's Studio birthday stamps and dies. It seems I always need a birthday card, so I'm excited to have this set!!

I bought some stamp sets from Everyday Explorers, a couple of her prompts sets, including the Christmas ones that sold out at Christmas time, and a music set. And an online lss here is closing down so I spent a little on some older Cocoa Vanilla lines (mostly pieces I've had and loved before or sheets I didn't buy from collections the first time around) along with the thinnest foam adhesive I've ever seen, if I'd known how thin it was going to be I would have bought way more.

I picked up Vicki Boutins Color Study collection and Heidi Swapp's Carefree line. I've already used Heidi's to do 4 layouts. It works so well with a lot of things, plus it pairs nicely with AEs connect story kit. I still am getting my Story kit sub and just picked up AEs read collection from sb.com I wanted it when AE had it on her site but could pay the $55+shipping. Sb.com had it on sale for $22 so I snagged it.

When crafting straddles the line between want to and need to that seems like a difficult balance, at least sometimes. Does it help at all to keep WIPs in containers so they’re neat with components together? Blanking on those really shallow plastic ones about 9x12 that stack and the lid flips open... ugh, holy brain. Not Iris. But you know what you’re doing, and brains do what they do.

An alpha stamp set from Ali, and the stamp class Laura is doing at AE.
I might go back for another alpha. 👀

Tell me more about this please! I'm all about thin dimension. I honestly have no idea what it is, there's no header or anything, it's literally just a sheet of 1mm thick foam adhesive in a clear plastic bag. Sorry, that's not the slightest bit helpful!

School uniforms for my grandson. There went my budget for the near future. However, before that, the last two things I purchased were a set of Cricut Fine Point Pens and the adapter-pen holder so they work in my Cricut Joy. Super happy that I now have a selection of colors to write in my cards.
