June Goals/Progess/Accomplishments thread

My goals are to stay current with the Allison Davis 6x6 paper pad class and continue working on my Disney album. I think it’s possible to actually finish it in June.

Actually scrapping is my goal.

Also, ordering May photos this week.

Writing down some more journaling so I have it before I forget it.

June is such a busy month. Too busy for my liking. I am going to Texas and California for 10 days at the end of the month. But I have 2 cropportunities. I am having a difficult time deciding what to scrap this month. I am waiting for one of my many projects to call my name.

So my goal this month is to just get 15 pages done each of the 3 scrapping days. That is a fairly aggressive goal so if I get more than 30 done I will feel ok about it.

I have more than a few unfinished projects. But none of them have screamed finish me now.

Keep caught up with my Project Life album (I'm amazed I've been able to keep up with it so far).

Do a couple 12 x 12 layouts, and use some of these distress oxides I've been stockpiling, lol.

I have the kit for Maker Mania 3 and some photos to go with it. And hoping to learn some new foiling and glazing  techniques (based on what is in the package)

Some half & half pages for Shimelle’s class.

Fathers Day cards, a birthday card, and a couple of get well cards.

I hope to have dgs’s grad album finished by the end of the month. But first I will need photos of the ceremony.

June calendar page.

I have lost my mojo so I would like to find that again. Today I did my bullet journal, a project life and 2 self love spreads. They were ok. I’m not overly in love with any of them.

This month I would like to finish my WITL. I’m on Tuesday.

I would also like to catch up a little on project life. I think I have 8 weeks to do.

I’m also on prompt 14 of the self love album. I would like to get to 20.

Since I received some date june 2021 cards I feel compelled to use them. I'm making a few foundation backgrounds for them, as there are several events happening in June & I'm not sure which ones will make it to a layout.

Making a few kits for layout pages. Will try to make just one photo order, so these layouts won't get made until later in the month.

Taking more photos in June Outside of WITL the past year+ has been pretty bare on picture taking. There's only so many times I can document myself working, pjs of the day, or shows we're binging while stuck at home.

Also going through sketches from the Elle's Studio class to see what I can switch up to fit into a life crafted album instead of 12x12. I printed a bunch of old Disney trip photos I didn't make albums for to scrap the 'good' ones lol and I wanna use the sketches for inspiration.

I'd like to stay up to date on Shimelle's class, I finished the latest prompt yesterday so it should be achievable

I'm also in the SG 6x6 class although I'm a couple of weeks behind, so I'd like to catch up on some of those.

I really need to get some more photos printed. There is a sale that finishes tomorrow night so after work tomorrow I need to get my butt into gear and resize some photos.

With school done for dh, I have my scrappy area back. This week is busy with end of school stuff and dd's graduation then parties.

Looking to get back into the swing of things next week. I hope to get at least 4 layouts done a week. 2 for dd and 2 for ds.

My partner picked up a cute little roll top desk for me, so that I have scrap space at his place, but it needs refinishing. My goal is to get a good start on that this month so that I have it done by the end of summer when there is more time inside for me to scrapbook. I am so excited to have a desk of my own (and also one that I can close up on my mess!).

I went to a 12 hour crop yesterday and although it was a CM crop, it was overall very quiet and conducive to getting a whole lot done.  I took small meals and snacks so I barely took breaks for meals.  

I have been in a slump at most crops getting much less done than I like, but yesterday I got 23 layouts done and I was happy with them. 

I was able to use paper and embellishments that I liked using so I was pleased that they didn't look too simple for my taste.  The only one that bothered me a little is I used cardstock background and even though it was mostly covered with photos it bugged me.  I had a busy patterned paper on it too but still, I would have preferred a subtle pattern but I didn't have one available.  Many times I go back and switch it out but this morning I put them all away in albums and resisted holding it out to change it.

I have another crop next weekend and have a choice of projects.  I'm going to decide on Friday before I head out the door.

I have stayed current with the class so that’s one goal reached.
I don’t think I touched my Disney album more than once or twice. It’s bigger than my last ones and I’m tired of the themed supplies so I put it away for a while.
June was really busy for me but I should have more time for scrapping in July so I’ll start thinking about goals.
