@patter thank you for sharing it. I gotta ask... do you forever have the pea title of identicaltriplets? I like, just noticed that! Yes. You can add that yourself. That was my Pea name on the old board.

Just T your blanket looks beautiful. What brand of yarn did you use? It looks so thick and cozy. Thank you! The off white and yellow are Hobby Lobby I love this yarn, and the pink and green are from Michaels...I can't remember the brand. It comes in an oval shaped skein rather than a thinner one, if that makes sense.

This is beautiful. I always make baby blankets non-traditional colors. But if I make them for church, they have to be white. We give them to families when a baby is baptized. Thank you! I have always made them in non traditional colors, too. But not this non traditional. LOL I always try to make them larger and in colors that aren't baby-ish so they can be used longer.

And I'm caught up on the preschool scrapbook AGAIN. It went to school today for the teacher to add some pages to and we'll get it back at "graduation" on Thursday- with MORE pictures to add. THEN I will finish it and put it on the shelf. LOL.
I have some lettering to cut for a teacher friend for her door. I'll get that done this week and when the OTHER prints I ordered show up I can put together the teachers word clouds for my DD's teachers and drop them off with the lettering. Hopefully next week.
Then, I don't know what's on my craft agenda. I do need to make a card for MIL. She's turning 70 (I think?) on Saturday. We're doing a surprise sushi dinner on Friday. INSIDE (sigh) and sit down style. I think I'm ok with that. DH and I are both vaccinated as are MIL and her DH. My kids are to young. IF outside is an option, I'm going to ask for that but I don't know that it is.

The glue is drying.

American friends, one of my Utah friends was saying she can't get black card blanks from Michael's any more. Has anyone else found this?

Now that you mention this, I don't remember seeing them when I was getting card making stuff a couple weeks ago for a project. I don't think I saw any at Hobby Lobby or Joann's either.

I finally finished this. It was supposed to be for my brother's family for Christmas. I'm getting it printed on a throw pillow. I did most of it with palette knives, and brushes for some of the details on the body.

jeremysgirl said I should pop over here and share this crochet blanket I'm working on. It's a version of Attic24's Meadow CAL blanket, actually the simple colorwash stripe she made as a sample for the complete blanket. attic24.typepad.com/weblog/meadow-stripe.html I liked the simple rainbow pattern. This is my most ambitious project so far, but still pretty simple and mindless to do while watching TV in the evenings. June share by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I received the perspex cover today for my latest mini make in 1.12th scale, so here are some slighty fuzzy pics (sorry). The outdoor roombox scene central character is a commissioned model of my late soul mate cat Sam. He used to sit like this gazing up at the gate until my OH went to let him in. Another memory shown here was spending time with my Mum shelling peas as a kid. The actual mini was a kit and the things shown are either made by me or purchased.

phoenixcov, I have run out of superlatives to describe your model! I want to live there! It is absolutely charming. A blue tit on the milk! Shelled peas on the table! (I buy peas in their pod to eat raw whenever they are available, they never reach the cooking pot). Your dear kitty looking up at the door. I just love everything about it.

As always, I am amazed with the work that you do phoenixcov! Not only the ability to create in 1:12 scale, but the precision with which you do it! Really love how you incorporate personal memories into the scene. Thanks for sharing!

To be honest, I am not sure if I have or not. It's not something they would want me to do here. I may have when they were younger.
