JoP is a very special pea. She gifted me the most beautiful shawl and I am so overwhelmed it is hard to know what to say here. It will make a huge difference to how comfortable I can be at night, no more cold neck and shoulders for me anymore. Thank you so very much JoP for your kindness.

Oh, that Canadian company I was asking about, Ancient Arts Fibre - I did order two skeins of the Meow yarn, knowing it was all they had of that colourway left. There was no option with regard to dye lots. They emailed to say the dye lots didn't match when they pulled the skeins and they are going to dye two more for me. I thought that was really good service.

JoP is a darling and she has good taste in colours! Here is a hat I've made for the husband of a friend of mine. I had to play yarn-chicken - see what a tiny bit I had left! It's chenille yarn and very soft, and hopefully I've made it so that it can be worn either way out for 2 different looks.

RedSquirrelUK It looks it, when I saw the pic I immediately imagined a blanket in that fabric and running my hand over it! What brand is it?

I guess he thought with his black fur and orange collar I wouldn’t notice he had snuck into the box.

I'm hoping the crocheters might be able to point me to a (free) tutorial for a change I want to make to a very simple cardigan that I'm making for lounging at home. I've never tried to make a garment, so I'm pretty clueless. I've googled, but I must just not being using the correct terminology to get exactly what I need. www.mamainastitch.com/endless-eyelets-cardi-granny-cardigan-pattern/ Anyhow, the cardigan it is made entirely of rows of granny stitch. The back is one large triange. The two front panels are rectangles, and the sleeves are also plain rectangles - though I'd also like to taper them a bit towards where they'll meet the ribbed cuffs.. I am planning on doing a 2" rib stitch around the bottom, the two sides of the front and neck, and a tighter ribbed cuff for the sleeves. What I need to do (I'm working from the bottom up) is decrease the rows of granny stitch slightly to make a subtle V from just under the breasts to the neckline. I want to be able to pull the cardi closed, instead of it hanging down straight from either sides of my neck. Clear as mud? Is there a tutorial out there? Having the word granny stitch keeps bringing up random tutorials on how to make granny squares :/ Thanks so much for any direction you all can offer. I do want to add that I always appreciate your kindness and patience with me as I learn <3
