Phone pics? Yes. DSLR pics? Yes. Point and shoot pics? Yes. Out of focus pics? Yes. Award-worthy pics? Yes. Pics of your children, grandchildren, spouse, partner? Yes. Your holiday/vacation, your food, flowers, etc...yes. Your dog, cat, llama, cow, chickens? Yes! No rules other than: 1. Please be considerate of others when posting. and 2. Please either host your images elsewhere (such as postimages.org) or use Tapatalk to upload so that we do not use the little bandwidth available for this forum. *************************************** To use postimages.org to host your photos (which literally, despite the directions below, takes just a minute): 1. Make an account on their site. if you're concerned about privacy, choose something other than your real name as your "nickname" on the site. 2. Upload your images to the site. Just click on the "choose images" button, navigate to where you keep your photos on your device (phone, table, laptop, or desktop), and select the images you want to upload. You can upload them one at a time, or select many to upload at one time. If you have problems with this, please google for instructions how to do so from your device. 3. Select "my images" at the top of your screen, and click into the image you'd like to share. 4. Copy the "HOTLINK FOR FORUMS" url for that photo, then paste it into a reply here and VOILA. You are done! To use Tapatalk to post your images (from monklady) Even if you never use it for reading the board, or for posting anything else, it is the easiest way to post photos. You just click the photo icon after you’ve opened the reply box, choose your photo, choose your size (the one I just posted is “small”), wait for it to upload, click “reply”, done. If I can do it with no problem then anyone can do it. 🤪 Also, it would be nice if you told us a bit about your image and/or supply some context. __________________________________________ In case I haven't made it clear, I love this time of year! I visited 2 botanical gardens this week and got a bunch of images that I like. While I was poking around, I found this tiny (maybe 1.5 x 2") little sign nestled into a vine

One of our cats lounging on DH's shoes - she seems to have some sort of weird obsession with shoes & slippers. "Don't mind me, I'm just guarding the shoes!"

Power went out on Memorial Day. I found these candles at the grocery store. Looks like a shrine. I hope this isn't being sacrilegious. 🤣

I visited a local garden favorite on Sunday. Typically, I have a route I take to cover all the ground I enjoy. I didn’t get far because I spent nearly the entire time there with this great blue heron. She was beautiful I’ve seen and photographed many heron. I got this one fishing…twice. This image was amazing to capture because I’ve never seen anything like it.

My membership at my original gun range expired last August. With ammo in short supply and quite costly, the “luxury” of visiting the range to shoot just didn’t exist. Things are slowly improving and I decided that before I renew at my original range, I wanted to visit a different range. I would then decide where I wished to renew. The new range is nicer…and much better climate controlled which for me is huge. Unfortunately the new range pretty much dismissed me. They kept me waiting at the counter unnecessarily (both at the beginning and when checking out). They also asked me if I’ve ever fired my guns. I kinda wanted to ask them if they ask the men that same question. The temperature was much cooler and range was cleaner. I suppose I will give them another visit to see how things go. I really want to be there, but if you’re going to be dismissive, I will take my business elsewhere. I hope they were watching when I hung my target, shot once and got this. Still want to ask me if I’ve ever fired my guns, assholes?

Finally, about three weeks later than usual, the first peony blooms I grow mine for cutting, and cut the last one off over the weekend. I did refridgerate some for later bloom per instructions I read online. Everything crossed that when I'm ready to take them out, they do in fact bloom. I need to find a later blooming variety to add for next year and beyond.
