I've made a short wishlist (~4 items) on my laptop with the full prices noted down and I've starred the ones that I know I would get a lot of use out of and written down why. I'm not going to browse when the sale starts, I'm only going to search those few items. If the things I've noted down are significantly reduced I might get them but otherwise I'm staying frosty.
Some of my favorite stamps and dies are Concord and 9th, I do get good value out of them, but I don't need more stuff!

I already own quite a few of their sets, so my current wish list is:
- everyday sayings standalone die set - this looks extremely useful, big bold cool fonts, and I love how you can use the different words together in various ways
- hello lovely matching die (the stamp set is one I get a lot of use of and it's older so maybe more likely to be on sale?)
- thankful leaves turnabout bundle - I don't know that I really want to get into turnabout stamps... but I like the maple leaf dies
- lace leaf stamp - so pretty, especially in gold, but not terribly versatile and I don't really love the sentiments.
I'm pretty sure I'll only get the last two if they're more than 40% marked down.
Some of my favorites that I already own and love: painted rose stamp, hello lovely (floral) stamp, grateful for everything stamp and die (so so good! for sympathy especially), monster love stamp and die, bold and brushy alpha stamps, and the tall type die bundle I bought last week. For Christmas their ornamental stamp set and die is my favorite, one of my most used sets.

Recently I purchased the thankful leaves turnabout - haven’t used it yet. The lace leaf stamp and dies are a go to, more versatile than I thought - the stamp alone too. Heat embossed it’s exquisite in metallics or black (black ink/clear EP for me) or colors. The little leaf has been used for background stamping and even the big one with some off-the-edge stamping. I’ve only used thankful and you, once masked off the “ful” to do thank you. It’s been used for a sympathy card, thinking of you, without a sentiment on the front, once five simple, colorful stamped cards sent to someone who likes sending notes to people. |

One of my favorite alpha sets is a brush calligraphy set I got free from one of those UK magazines - it's very similar to the lower case brush alpha that they have at C&9th, so I got the upper case to match and although I don't think I've used them together at all I really like the style and the upper case has been useful. They're very forgiving too - you don't have to line them up perfectly to look good. I haven't made very good use of them yet but I tried out the little brush background square the other day and it looked nice. There are lots of ways of dealing w/multiple prices (the regular price thru date x and then the sale price after date x) w/o locking up a site.

They’re moving, things have to be chaotic. I read the 5th example on Simon three times as CAT SLEEP CRAFT REPEAT before I realized it said EAT SLEEP CRAFT REPEAT. Bad eyes + cat. When I looked the page was gone - searching both for the lace leaf stamp and the bundle. I guess it's beyond sold out, or maybe the page was just glitching. Oh well, when I couldn't find it I realized I didn't really care, so no harm done. Thanks for the heads-up! I ordered the everyday sayings dies and the hello lovely dies and I'm happy with that. Both were only marked down a little but a little is better than not at all. I realized I didn't really love the thankful leaves turnabout, it's a bit too messy for my tastes. I got tempted by a big floral stamp with stencils to color is that was well marked down but I didn't really love the flower. I would love some big florals with stencils to help with coloring though! |

I bought the Hey There turnabout bundle marked down to $10.80. The Leafy Layers die set that had been $24.00 was $16.80, still a bit high but I’ve got this leaf addiction.
The Just Because stamp set was only $5.40 and I’ve used the die set for a while. And thanks to joblackford, the Bold & Brushy cap letters stamp set. It wasn’t marked down a lot but it’s just too neat. I can see making a little set of cards for someone as a gift out of them.

Whether you buy and are overjoyed with your "score!", or refrain and are proud of your resistance, I hope you are all having fun. Funny story: I went right to the dies, started seeing some that look pretty familiar... Oh yeah! I picked those up in response to an earlier marketing email, and have not even taken them out of the package  That, and the fact I am cleaning in here right now and making tough decisions on what to keep (everything?) and what to rehome (very little) made it easy to resist this sale. As I said, have fun! |

I checked out the shipping policies and it seemed like $15-25US to Canada for a few dies and stamps was crazy. I picked the items I was interested in and sure enough shipping was crazy. Im out.
