An awesome Brownie recipe. I have never found one that I love. Have you ever tried the Barefoot Contessa's recipe? They are a little bit labor intensive but worth it. My friends and family call them crack brownies and when my dad was dying and could barely eat, he would still eat those stupid brownies. I'll check her recipe out for sure.

A holy grail, sulfate free shampoo for my home colored, fine, dry, damaged, thin hair. I have to kiss many frogs apparently I love Joico Color Endure shampoo and conditioner! It’s the only shampoo I’ve used that doesn’t flatten my hair or strip its color. I usually get it at Ulta, but have also found it on Amazon. Good luck! www.ulta.com/p/color-endure-shampoo-xlsImpprod6500383Thanks! I use the conditioner. I wish they made a sulfate free shampoo

I was a brownie queen. No one could top my brownies. And then I tried the double chocolate Ghirardelli brownie mix. They are like crack. You cannot go back after you try these. I HATE box mixes of any kind and this is just not a box mix (okay - it is, but it tastes so great!) I love this mix, but my husband is sensitive to something in boxed mixes and we've never figured out what it is. My best guess is one of the preservatives. That’s a bummer because these really are the best EVER. You could try this recipe then. I’ve made it a bunch of times too. lifemadesimplebakes.com/homemade-cosmic-brownies/

We’re looking to adopt 2 kittens. Preferably male, any color, except orange. Our cat, Pickles, unexpectedly passed away 2 weeks ago and my heart has been broken since. DS and I left to go look at a local shelter on Thursday. I made the Sign of the Cross and DS looked at me as to why. I told him for strength to know if we’re ready and to know if the kitties are right for our family. Less than 5 minutes later, I saw my sign that things wouldn’t go well. I didn’t know what wouldn’t be correct, but knew if we went that it something would be off. My DS said “ok, let’s go back home”. I so love this kid! So we did. Thus, we are still looking to adopt 2 kittens. 🐈⬛🐈⬛

I’m trying to find two things right now- a deep fitted sheet that won’t pop off my darn mattress and a white, longer lightweight cardigan for summer that’s soft and not scratchy. What are you searching for? I’ve purchased many cardigans from JJill and have been pleased with the quality. What I'm really searching for is a treatment for chronic back and hip pain, that doesn't involve cortisone (can't have) or spinal fusion. I’m sure you’ve looked into this since you’ve considered spinal fusion, but just in case, I wanted to mention assisted stretching. My back and hips are at their best (though admittedly not great) when DH stretches me every night.

I’m looking for some large-ish beach/shell/lake/fishing themed artwork for our guest room at the lake cabin. I bought matching comforters for all the beds in that room a couple years ago and they have an orange/coral/navy and teal sea shell print. The curtains are solid navy and the walls are cream. I need something that goes with all that! It’s a big plain wall so I want something big. I saw a print that had a row of colorful Adirondack chairs that would have worked but it was much too small. Something fun like that. I don't know what your price range is, but my sort-of uncle does some beach-y themed paintings. You can check them out here. The ones at Eisenhauer Gallery are probably the most beach-themed. One day, when I've hit the lottery or retired or something, I'll buy one. They are definitely out of my price range at the moment.

I've found SUPER deep fitted sheets in the past (Target, Amazon). They fit but it's a FIGHT getting them on the mattress!!!! My issues that newer (past 8 yrs or so?) sheets, blankets, comforters, etc., all are nowhere as long all around as they once were. I can barely tuck in each side of the top sheets or blankets. It annoys me SO much because I love a tightly made bed. (Maybe this only pertains to more inexpensive bedding? I never recall having issues with bedding being too short on 3 sides of the bed!). I want to see that pattern. I am pretty sure that is the pattern/dress my sister had for her senior prom in 1977. I was made of a greenish blue polyester double knit with the collar made of lace. Thanks for the blast from the past!

I am searching for a lot of things:
The perfect tool to cut liquor bottles. What I really need is just the diamond coated drill bits, but I have gone down a rabbit hole for cutters, too.
Large flower pots with saucers. They need to be heavy enough that they won't topple when not filled with dirt but not too heavy to be easily moved and transported, but most importantly, they need to be cheap since they are for a Gold Award project. Someone giving them away of putting a bunch out at a garage sale would be ideal.
Furniture for a sorority house. Needs to be slightly trendy, but I expect them to keep it at least 10 years, so it needs to be durable and not so trendy that it will be out of style in 3 years. They need 2-3 couches, maybe a sectional, end tables, coffee tables, and 3-4 study tables with chairs. I'm thinking the couches will be a more classic style for longevity and the cheaper pieces can be replaced as the trends change.

Currently I am searching for motivation and inspiration to do some scrapbook pages. Then I will search for something good to watch on TV while I do. I am also searching for something to have for lunch and dinner so that I do not have to go to the grocery store today. On a wider scale, I am searching for some more self watering African Violet pots. I found some at an estate sale yesterday, but they were priced too high. I went back early this morning and got two of them for 50% off. The other two were still marked too high, but they are going to go to 75% off later in the afternoon, so I may go back and see if they are still there. The owner of the house was a crafter. There were boxes of old patterns and I found one for a dress that my mom had made me when I was in high school. It was green, and I wore it with my orange suede platforms when we rode the tram up Sandia Peak...and I fainted! I am going to make my dd a dress over that pattern and see if she will wear it. She is in to vintage looking things right now. I am also searching for a 1971 Sears catalog that is under $20ish including shipping. I was the only bidder on one last week that started at $12.50 and someone came in a sniped it at the last second and surpassed my highest auto bid. I was really pissed about that. Do you record stuff on your tv to watch when nothing else will do ? I recorded the whole series of The Office for background when I’m crafting. I find that I work better if something I like, but have already seen is on. So I don’t keep stopping to watch. I’m in love with Curb Your Enthusiasm, so I have that on a lot. Although, it does get a little ( a lot ) raunchy at times. West Wing, series I like, but have already watched is my suggestion.

The perfect straw/woven, summer hat that will fit my giant head. Something that will be cute with shorts and a tee or a casual dress. I have one I love, but I’ve had it for years and they don’t make it anymore. Gotta guard this face from the sun! I feel your pain! I also have a giant head along with thick hair, so finding a hat that actually fits is a challenge. I have a soft floppy-brimmed hat that I found at Cabella’s. It fits ok, but I don’t love it. Hope you find the hat holy grail.

I want to see that pattern. My mum made that dress for me! I’m trying really hard to remember the fabric she used, but it’s not coming. I recognised the pattern instantly though.

If I ever get the chance to buy sheets again, this makes sense. No wonder my sheets are never long enough to tuck in. What a shame that nowadays you have to pay extra just to have enough material on sheets and blankets to be able to tuck them in generously!! This is a fairly new issue (that they're all not long enough or wide enough to tuck in properly).

An awesome Brownie recipe. I have never found one that I love. Just buy the boxes of Ghirardelli brownie mix from Costco. Seriously no one will know you didn’t make them from scratch. They’re amazing. (And I bake a lot from scratch, so I know when it matters and when it doesn’t.) Same here! When I make any brownies, the pan is important. I always use an 8x8x2 pan and grease it with softened butter. Takes about 40 min at 350 to bake it. Check it with a toothpick to make sure it's not too gooey.

A particular sweet cornbread recipe. When I was young, the lady next door cooked the BEST sweet cornbread. It was most, sweet, light. I was too young to get the recipe from her and we moved away and lost touch. I've scoured the internet and tried a million recipes but never found one that could even came close. She was Hispanic so I don't know if it's a special ethic recipe.

A round wooden stainable sign for a craft project for a friend. I found a couple that already say things on then that can be painted, but I can't seem to find exactly what I'm picturing in my head. My friend who makes signs buys the unfinished rounds at Home Depot or Lowes

An ordinary 5'x7'-ish rug for the room we call ds's room even though he doesn't live here anymore. We just painted it and dd picked out a sage green color for the walls so I just want a rug color/pattern that doesn't totally clash with that. I haven't really started looking yet... dd and I were just at Ikea but I didn't find anything there. I'll probably get something from Amazon. Costco has great rugs online!

I second the sheets, because we have a thick mattress plus cooling gel mattress pad, which makes for a thick sandwich to put a fitted sheet over. I've considered just using a flat sheet and tucking it in instead, but DH is a wild sleeper, so I'd end up doing more work than I want redoing the sheet every day. What I'm really searching for is a treatment for chronic back and hip pain, that doesn't involve cortisone (can't have) or spinal fusion. Have you been sent to physical therapy?

You've tried everything that my DH tried before he went with fusion. Is there a reason fusion is off the table?
