I went to Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s in Walnut Creek today, and saw almost no one without a mask. Finally, when I was waiting for my mom out in the TJ’s parking lot, I saw an old man exit the store with no mask on. I don’t even know for sure that he didn’t just rip it off right as he was coming out the door.

In my area it was mostly masked when I went out, however at Ralphs there were lots of people without a mask. I feel comfortable not wearing mine so I didn't and it felt wonderful.

I'm fully vaccinated and I'm not wearing a mask now. I didn't this morning in Target and Kohl's but it was early in the morning and there were not a lot of people.

Ds and I did today at Albertson's. I would say 99% of the people we saw had masks on. He will be full vaccinated on the 28th (2 weeks post 2nd dose).

I went to Whole Foods in Lafayette today (again) and went in without a mask. Most were still masked up but some where not. It felt really good.

I have 4 kids too young to be vaccinated yet. We will continue to mask indoors, only go out to eat where we can do it outdoors, and avoid crowds. We haven't been so careful for the last year to throw it all away when we are so close to the end of this. I really worry about my kids getting it now because people are being so much more relaxed. I have been vaccinated since April and we did venture on our first plane flight since April 2020, I have no desire to do that again any time soon. Same! I have a 4 year old and a 7 year old. All our family and friends are vaccinated and we do not mask around them, but in public we will.
My daughter has a disease which is usually a non-issue but one of those things where COVID or MISC-C could be more serious for her and that is my primary concern.

If the business requests it, yes. Most places still do here, in fact I haven't been anywhere that yet that doesn't.

At my neighborhood Sprouts store this morning, the sign said:
"Masks recommended and greatly appreciated"
I thought that was such a positive way to word the message.

I won't go against their wishes and just avoid shopping there until they feel more comfortable. I know OSHA has officially lifted the restrictions as well.

Wow, I sure hope people don't boycott Sprouts because they recommend masks! I'm a big fan of Sprouts, it's close my house, and my store did an awesome job throughout the pandemic of keeping their employees and customers safe. If they say wearing a mask is appreciated, I'm more than happy to wear one. I've found masks that fit well and are comfortable to wear, and it's an easy thing for me to do.

I haven't been since pre pandemic. Ours did a horrible job at keeping staff, customers, and the community safe. We had several large outbreaks at ours. Changed my view of that company.

I respect that! I know each location is different depending on the management of the store. I'm surprised that someone who was shopping there would decide to stop because they recommend and appreciate customers wearing masks.
