I looked on my washer and it says 3.8, is it possible I have such a small washer? Is that small? It has always done what we needed.

My Whirlpool Cabrio top load is 4.7 or 4.8 cubic.
I can do my queen blankets and queen comforter together with no issues.

Yup! 1 queen comforter, 1 thin fleece queen blanket and 1 to 2 personal blankets (not even twin size). I do a deep water load.

I have a Speed Queen TR7, which is 3.8 cubic feet but it seems huge.

Mine is 5.3 without an agitator. I can put a ton of stuff in there. I typically don't and conserve water where I can, but when doing bedding, I do use a deep water mode. I live in the Country and going to a laundry mat for blankets and comforters would not be easy or convenient.

Front loader, 7.5kg of cotton. Ours are measured in weight not capacity.

I’m not sure what the cubic ft size is, but when we bought it we told the guy we wanted something that wouldn’t struggle with a king sized comforter and the LG we bought never has.

I don’t know…it’s a top load with no agitator and I have to stand on my tiptoes to get the stuff at the bottom out. We just moved in and it was left by the previous owner. It seems like we can put a huge amount of laundry in it.

5.2 cu.ft. LG Mega Capacity TurboWash top loader. No agitator and it holds a ton of stuff. As for your machine being small. As long as it holds what you need it to and does a good job, then 3.8 is all you need! We have a king size bed so mine needs to be able to hold bulky comforters. I also wait and do just one load of towels per week.
