Former was distraught? Does he really care, or is just worried about himself? President Donald Trump was distraught as he watched Trump Organization Allen Weisselberg walk into Manhattan court in handcuffs, according to ABC News reporter John Santucci, who said the former president called the 15-count indictment a "disgrace." www.rawstory.com/allen-weisselberg-indictment-2653621981/

If Weisselberg is not confined to home can he/will he be allowed to go to work with former in trump tower? I think that he has to stay in his home unless he has a doctor's appt. WHY are they trusting this man who has been at the core of a tax scheme for years?? He had disposable $$, traded off cars, penthouses, tuitition (for his grandchildren??), etc. I'd think that he'd be able to get a fake passport and hop on a Trump-rented plane and take off.

State tax felonies against Weisselberg and Trump Org related to fringe benefits? THAT’s it? Three years of investigation and fighting to get Trump’s tax returns from Mazars all the way to the SC and this is all they’ve got? Jesus.
What happened to Trump's tax fraud, bank fraud and insurance fraud? Vance and James didn’t even find ONE prosecutable criminal charge against the big kahuna? If all they’ve got on Weisselberg is $1.7M non-reported income, he won’t flip if that’s all Vance has to bargain with.
They would have been better off giving their files to federal like SDNY which can charge federal RICO that would implicate Trump. Oy. Somebody tell me this is just the warm-up.

If you click on the link at the end, there many fun tweets!! .... Speaking with FOX NEWS, Eric Trump made a number of incriminating remarks that led many to believe that his father's company is actually guilty of doing what it has been accused of. At one point during his appearance on Fox News, Eric criticized the Manhattan District Attorney's Office as he accused them of "focusing on $3.5 million to take down a political opponent" as he insisted "crime 'is rampant' and people are leaving 'dirty' and 'disgusting' New York City 'in record numbers.'" *** www.rawstory.com/eric-trump-2653646462/

Trump has long history of wheeling and dealing ... www.rawstory.com/trump-org-indictments-2653646801/In light of the 15 felony count indictment handed down against Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg for avoiding taxes and hiding compensation, the New York Times reports that the schemes being used have been longstanding practices at the company dating back to when Donald Trump's father, Fred, ran the business. ***** "Hundreds of millions of dollars in deductions for business expenses ran the gamut, from $6 for food in Uruguay and $10 for using a telephone in Panama to $13.7 million for 'sales and marketing' in Las Vegas." The report goes on to note self-dealing arrangements where invoices were inflated and family members skimmed off money for themselves by using a shell company. "Among the Trump family's machinations was the creation in 1992 of All County Building Supply & Maintenance, a company that existed mainly on paper. It was co-owned by Donald Trump, his three siblings and a cousin, John Walter," the report notes. "Vendors who sold goods and services to Trump properties were asked to send invoices to All County, which would pad the actual cost by an additional 20 percent or more and bill Fred Trump, who paid the inflated amount. The extra money was then split among the former president, his siblings and Mr. Walter." As for Donald Trump, the report adds, "The Times's 2020 investigation of Mr. Trump's tax records found that by using hundreds of millions in losses from his businesses, as well as by deducting expenses and taking advantage of tax credits, he was able to pay only $750 in federal income taxes in both 2016 and 2017, and none at all in 10 of the previous 15 years. His aggressive strategies led to an Internal Revenue Service audit, which is believed to be continuing, of the legitimacy of a $72.9 million refund he claimed." The Times reports that there are hints in the Weisselberg indictments that those dealings -- including paying employees consulting fees while at the same time already giving them a regular paycheck -- is likely being scrutinized. "Beyond the case against Mr. Weisselberg, the 25-page indictment hints at potential trouble for others at Mr. Trump's company, saying the attempts to avoid declaring compensation and paying taxes extended to at least two other employees who are not identified. Prosecutors also take aim at the Trump Organization's practice of reporting certain income as "non-employee compensation," which is normally not subject to payroll deductions," the Times report adds. www.rawstory.com/trump-org-indictments-2653646801/

Weisselberg removed from Trump Org officer positions. He is still employed.... Hopefully he decides to sing loud and clear?!! Former President Donald Trump has removed chief financial officer Allen Weisselberg from serving as an officer on some of his other companies. Weisselberg was named as the treasurer, director, vice president and secretary in Florida Department of State records, but Donald Trump Jr. is now the executive vice president, director, secretary, treasurer and vice president. Eric Trump is the new president, director and chairman of the company. "Trump Payroll is run by Trump Organization employees and processes payroll for company staff, according to the indictment," the Journal explained. "Mr. Weisselberg was also terminated last week as a director at Trump International Golf Club Scotland Limited, a company tied to Mr. Trump's Scotland golf course, according to a filing in Companies House, the U.K.'s registrar of companies." Former federal prosecutor Daniel Zelenko explained to the Journal that once a CFO is indicted, they generally don't remain in the position. "How are insurers and lenders going to rely on what the CFO tells them?" said Zelenko. "It creates a lot of challenges for a company continuing to do business." www.rawstory.com/allen-weisselberg-2653758902/

I think that one of the worries I heard about is that Weisselberg's son still works for the Trump Org somewhere... and since the elder Weisselberg has worked there for SOOO long- he may not flip.

Oh sure. His son is also in the middle of the tax issues. He didn't pay gift taxes on all the dollars. (Or payroll taxes however it turns) Unknown if Weisselberg will cover for his son. He also has to worry about former flipping on him. We know former is not loyal..
