They can be challenges to create a particular project--say a page, or a card, or a piece of wall art,--Use a particular colour or material or technique or texture, use particular number or size of photos on a page, particular fonts, letters, or images, start or finish a project, or... Make it a challenge that will keep YOU excited about scrapping, maybe something that will get you going to actually FINISH that little mini album. SHARING: Your creations can be shared in individual challenge threads ( Regular monthly challenges) or in the June Sharing Thread on the General Scrapbooking board. You do not HAVE to share your creation to earn your challenge points, but only those shared will earn the Sharing points. POINTS Earn one point for your team each time you: *set a challenge *create something no matter the size. *share a photo or scan of that creation with us. Then you can choose to score points by either of these counting systems. And you don't have to stick to one system, so you can use one system for one creation and the other for another. We don't want to spend all our time doing MATH, so do what is easiest for you. OLD SCHOOL *meet ANY of the challenges. You can claim ONE POINT for every challenge your creation meets, PLUS any bonus points offered up by that challenge. No limit to how many challenges you meet with one creation. And you can use any of the challenges for points any number of creations during the month! EASY PEASY: After you have calculated in your creating (1 point) and sharing (1 point), you claim a flat number of points for each creation, depending on its SIZE ***Give yourself 20 points for every creation that is at least 8”x11”. **Give yourself 15 points for each creation that is between 5”x7” and 8”x11” *Give yourself 10 points for any creation smaller than 5”x7” If you create multiple cards with the same design (let's say 10 for this example), you can show us ONE of them. Then you would claim 10 for creating and 1 for sharing before going on with other points. (11 points in the example) * EASY PEASY, just go by points for that size (let's say 15 in this case) and multiply by number of cards (10), add on your points for creating/sharing (11) and your total would be 161 points for ten cards. *OLD SCHOOL: count up the points you earned for items on your one shared card. Let's say you picked up 20 points for it. Now multiply by the number of cards (10), so 200, and then add on your creating & sharing (11), so 211 points. Four challenges (4). July 1st to 4th two cards (34) and two pages (35). Total: 73.
July 5th to 11th: Seven 12x12 pages (255), one card and seven 4x9 pages (122). Five hours in virtual crop (50) An additional five hours crafting with a friend in person (50). Watched ECD mason jar class video and put together 7 pages based on the class (15). Total: 492.
July 12th to 19th: eight 12x12 pages (206), one card (17), seven hours crafting in person (70), two hundred photos printed (200), fifty of them from July (50). Total: 543.
July 20th to 31st: eight pages (303), seven cards (119), plus card challenge bonus (20), three hours on line with the Peas (30), and six hours cleaning/organizing (60). Total: 532.
