a couple of layouts from DH's birthday - I struggled with these, I almost always struggle with birthday layouts for some reason, and I'm not all that pleased with the results but they are in the album and I'm especially pleased to have the memory of DH's special tradition with his brother documented.

Finished this layout last night. I also finished dd's Halloween page 2 nights ago but it is similar to ds' so I didn't take a photo. Love the paper choice/colors and the splatters!

Linda, I love your turkeys. I see they are getting a lot of love on here.
I live next to a metro park that has over 50 wild turkeys living there. I love going there to visit them. They are a little intimidating, though. My nephew and I were walking through the woods on one of the trails a few years ago and a group of 11 turkeys were blocking our path. They walked all around us and I was a bit scared of them being so close. They act like they own the park (I guess they do) and are totally unafraid of humans and basically ignore the fact that humans exist. They just walked by us, not caring a bit that we were there.

Several years ago, our outdoor kitty (who is now an indoor kitty) just strolled casually through a group of 15 or so turkeys. They ignored her and she ignored them. DH would sometimes get stuck on the driveway and have to wait for the turkeys to move...which they were usually in no hurry to do so.

Linda, what a nice tradition to continue even though his brother is gone. I really like your b-day pages. Great photos and the flying balloons are a great touch. Love the story behind these. ~ I love those painting photos. I can’t read the journaling, but it looks like a fun class or workshop. I love the soft plaid in the background. Just perfect. 950nancy, your fishing pages are wonderful. Such great photos of the fun and action. I love the way you did the title and all the little fish. Beautiful pages! AussieMeg, I love your little Bob the Builder. You have love in the gallery. Thanks for all the comments on my DGD's wedding photos. I still have a few more I will post as I finish them. refugeepea, how is your hand doing?

I was told today the PA received the x-ray and hopefully they will call me tomorrow. I guess there was an IT issue. They thought x-rays were sent correctly, they never got to them, and then they had a backlog.

Way behind on leaving love but I’m trying to get caught up. This is for where I left off on page 2 - azcrafty your Christmas sheetload cards are beautiful! Good for you getting a head start! schroema! I love your class layouts! They are just beautiful! Fully Vaxxed is my favorite! gramma your title word never fails to amaze me! That album is so beautiful, I love it and I’m sure the recipient will too! refugeepea my planer looks a lot like yours, mistakes on the date and I just leave it, it’s more for function than being pretty lol.

I found some mini business cards I had made years ago with my over-filtered (early Instagram) dahlia photos on them. Managed to turn them into a few nice looking cards for the donation box using my new die set from Concord&9th and some scraps. The sunshine and happiness one has a couple of Bloom Street bits on it. I'm happy to be using up some things that have been hanging around for 10 years. Next up will be finding a design for a faux polaroid of Seattle's Pike Place Market. I tossed the rest of the faux polaroids because the subjects wouldn't work for cards. Decluttering and crafting at the same time! July share by jo.blackford, on Flickr
