kluski This is the method I used: Blue Roses 100%Possibly my last question...what do you carry in your pockets? I only carry 10 items so I have room to clean/loot/etc. Ladder, Pole, Slingshot, Fishing Pole (2), Shovel (2), Axe (2), and Net. If I'm doing island clean up, I'll ditch the stuff I don't need and carry a trash can. I know a few of the Peas would set up workbench areas around their island leave benches / tables with supplies on them to build things. You could try that so they're not on the ground and by placing them it should count towards your island rating. I've found flowers really offset some of the junk laying around. Currently my island is overrun with flowers, but I had lots of stuff just dropped on the ground while I rearranged and I still had that stupid 5 star flower popping up. How long do you have to invite a new resident before Nook fills the empty lot after a resident leaves? It varies, there's no set time. That jerk Nook filled my plot after I didn't fill it the first day one time. After that, I just started backing my time back up if I got tired of hunting but wanted to do it the next day IRL.

I am opening up zombieland It is raining pretty good at the moment. I have some stuff to the left of the airport by my house on the beach that is free to good home, Al is crafting the deer decoration and turnips are 154. Feel free to fish, swim, catch whatever  I am trying to restock my summer shells but all other shells are fair game Well, my timing sucks, as usual. I did mail you 2 stacks of summer shells… I hoarded those since last summer. Please let me know if I can send more (I planned on delivering 8 stacks). It wasn't sitting the the cradle properly and the battery died. I didn't notice till this morning. Im so sorry. It is charging now and I will re open in a bit. Zelle is in boxes if anyone is looking for that particular villager. I have some questions... How long do you have to invite a new resident before Nook fills the empty lot after a resident leaves? I am working two plans to get blue roses. I ‘think’ I have the correct reds planted together but they produced a black yesterday. Does that mean I have the wrong reds? And to piggyback on that question...if I plant pink and yellow in hopes of a red but it produces say orange, should I trash that pair bc their genes are wrong? Hope that makes sense. Possibly my last question...what do you carry in your pockets? I have 16 spots filled all the time. I carry two watering cans, two fishing rods, two nets and two shovels. Then just one of the other tools and always iron. I’m thinking my dd has the better idea carrying the workbench bc she crafts another tool on the spot! Just kidding, one more question...do you store all of you building materials in your house? It takes up so many spaces! I have a ‘firewood’ spot but I don’t think Isabelle approves. 😝 I don’t think I will ever reach five stars so take that Isabelle! lol. I haven’t done as much developing as I thought this summer bc it doesn’t flow for me so I stopped. I will forever be the work in progress island. 🤦🏽♀️🤷🏻♀️ I finally caught the horned Hercules last night. Now I only need one more. The one between the hh and the saw stag. Also, I found a resident in the museum yesterday. That was a new one for me! I restarted my island so what I carry is different now. I carry a ladder, a vaulting pole, one net one shovel, two axes, a slingshot and a watering can if I am working with flowers. I usually pick an area to work on and drop the DIY station and the trashcan in that area while I work. I did save a bunch of gold ones from my last island so I don't need to carry as many multiples with the golden tools. I don't normally carry around building supplies unless I know Im going to be reworking an area. I decide what DIYS Im going to use, grab those supplies and drop them near the DIY station so they aren't in my pockets. Once I get my bridges and stairs in place for this new island, I wont even need the ladder or the pole anymore so that will fill up two spaces. I try not to carry anything more than the first row will hold. Make sure you have all the pocket upgrades. Once I am done working the area, everything gets stored back in the house. Oh....I also put a mario tube outside my main house and then the second one is in the area I am working on so that I can warp back and forth instead of having to run all the time. |

thank you! That is actually one off the two ways I am trying. The other way is his shorter version he made after this video. I’m only about 40 days into the process and I haven’t attempted time traveling. |

Hello crossers! I have a day off today, yay, and feel bad I haven’t played in a long while. My poor villagers😌 so neglected. 😋
I’ve been “busy” (watching love island and big brother 😍🤣) and lack desire to play along with not feeling great (headaches and such) so I’d log in, talk to a few villagers and log off right away. I’ve recently been diagnosed with anemia and severe B12 deficiency which makes so much sense when I look up the symptoms I check almost all the boxes. I’m so dog tired all the time that I’m at the point of even trying to play makes me feel exhausted and I’m highly unmotivated to redo my in progress city theme island. Also we are surrounded by fires, the smoke has been so bad we haven’t seen the sky in weeks and today it is gloriously clear. The air smells fresh, I can see blue sky. I really think the constant state of stress here in the Okanagan has given a lot of us a sense of doom and a touch of depression. 😔
However I realized a part of my lack of motivation and excitement is this city vibe I’m trying to achieve. It is just not inspiring to me. Looking around at the pavement and street lights and parking spots I think it’s cute but just meh. So I log off after 10 minutes of wandering around trying to decide what to do.
Sooooo to get back into playing I think I’ll demolish it all again 🤪😂 and going to go back to my favorite, country/cottage/beachy vibe, some sort of hybrid mix lol. Oi.
Looking forward to some visiting of islands this weekend for fresh ideas that’ll maybe spark my creativity. 😁

ModChick I'm hopeful a diagnosis will help get you back to feeling better! I'm unmotivated to redo my island even though I'm not a fan of it right now. I tried to go little Tokyo and I like some of it, but hate other parts and didn't finish others.. hah! You're in good company. Autumn stuff makes me so much happier and then following right after will be my very favorite season, so maybe I'll get moving.. I wish you all the luck on demolishing! I wish they'd give us a lawnmower for flowers... really would help. ^.^

I found one online that I just absolutely love and would love to recreate, however I have no idea how to start. It really is a great little island with a lot of neat ideas. I feel it must have been made by a more advanced player than I so I just wander. I am showing the game to a friend of mine this weekend and her kids and I hope that maybe that will help get me back. My villagers yelled at me for being gone for over a month. Right now I am just running around fishing and catching bugs, daily chores and presents to the villagers. I haven't done any kind of terraforming or major island changes in over a month, more like 2. because I know someone is going to ask  Rainy and Natural Forestcore |

Something I've been doing to get more full-grown palm trees on my island is traveling to deserted islands and taking the palm trees from there, then planting them at home. That way, I don't have to wait several days for a tree to grow!

I hope you are able to take a supplement perhaps to help (sublingual pills were the ticket for me). They just melt under your tongue and get into your system a bit faster. I hope the fires are contained soon!

So last night after dinner I set my game clock ahead to 11:30 and went bug hunting. Caught lots of creepy looking stag things but of course neither of the ones that I need. I did get a cicada shell which I was missing so that's one thing to cross off the list. I think I might try the bug hunting on a mystery island in a few minutes just to see if those trees will attract them better than mine. I need one that spawns on regular trees, the scarab beetle. Then two that spawn only on palm trees, the gold stag and the giraffe stag. I have too many regular trees on my island so it's a pain to run all over the place. I figure if I go to a mystery island I can take some palm trees with me, plus move some of the regular trees from the island to be all in a line. Then I'll chop down all the rest, dig up everything, etc. We will see...

I caught a barrel eye fish last night, I was so excited. I only have 3 fish missing and 3 bugs. I planted a bunch of palm trees and am going to fi my game today to see if I can catch some more I want to get rid of all these darn random trees, they are driving me bonkers.
Do we get different boppers from Isabelle each week or from different islands? She gave me star ones on my island, but I got green ones from someone else’s’island.
Would the creatures wear them? I could get an extra set from Master Gracey if so.

Kind of took a break from the game for a week or so...but ready to come back and play. Tonight will be my first time seeing the fireworks. Anything I need to know?
I worked on some pathing today...that is such a time consuming job. Looking to make some changes on my island, but it is slow going for me, which is fine.
Hoping to visit/have visitors so please post when your island is open for friends! I also need to visit with Celeste for this month's DIY if anyone has her visiting.

I could get an extra set from Master Gracey if so. Yes, she gives you a different one each week, but you can also get one each time you visit someone's island, so you can double up easily. I'm not sure your islanders will wear them... Some of the items you get from Redd's Raffle do disappear after you use them. ie: balloons can be lost if you run with them, drinks will disappear after 3 drinks, etc. Have fun!! Don't forget to set up a custom firework with Isabelle before the show starts! |

I'm SO tired of running up and down my beach. lol. If I could just wait in front of my row of palm trees for them to spawn that would be great. |

I’ve been on a mystery island for more than hour...the two rare beetles that I need are supposed to spawn after 5 p.m. — no sign of them yet. I’m seriously about to give up. 😕

I made a line of coconut trees along the beach and I'm going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and...ugh! |
