How do you have it already? I don't have very much of the darker wood because that's what all the tools seem to take. Guess I should start saving now for Halloween? Also, does anyone have one can that they could send me so I can try to catch that darn fly? |

The Palia games looks beautiful! I'm hoping everyone gets their critters. I stopped opening up since I figured it's harder to get those rare ones to spawn. I'm not sure but I don't want to waste anyone's time. I just felt bad wasting your time! I would love to wander other beaches, but I just don’t like to feel like I am bothering other people if they want to do stuff on their island or don’t want to babysit. You wouldn't be wasting my time! I opened specifically for anyone to try to catch the rare bugs. The only thing I would want to do is help. I could always just change the turner to TV. You are 3 hours ahead. I can just leave the island open all night. I think I'll do that Friday night? If anyone else wants me to open to help their chances, LET ME KNOW when. I really want everyone to catch what they need. I'll even plant more coconut trees for this last week. I'll send out hard wood and a garbage pail soon. |

I think it takes 9 wood per tree, but it might be 6. In any event it takes a lot! I always buy my tools, but I still don't get much dark wood. If anyone wants to bring supplies over I can make Halloween trees while you wait. I will announce when I am open, just let me know if you are interested. I can also make surprise pumpkins which are adorable, but they take iron and pumpkins. |

I go back on Monday 😢 so I won’t be able to hang with my Pea Crossers much either well except when I’m avoiding getting school work finished! Yeah, seasonal sounds good to me. I'm also heading back to work at school next week. We have a teacher shortage and a HUGE sub shortage so I could work every day if I wanted to. I'll be going back next week as a fill-in for a 4th grade that has no teacher yet. I told the school that I do NOT want to be a long-term sub (because they have to do lesson plans, deal with parents, attend staff meetings, etc., all for not much more than they pay the regular day-to-day subs) but I'm willing to take this class for a couple of weeks. I hope I don't regret it!  |

Y'all I miss you all so much! I haven't played much in the last couple of weeks. Hopping on here and there for a hot minute to catch something, see who my special was, etc. I have made sure to get on a few minutes on Sunday nights. I love the fireworks!! Trying to buy all the raffle things.
Anywho, I have been so very stressed this week dealing with a Covidiot in the office. My boss, of all people. He was exposed last Thursday, couldn't get a test until Wednesday. He was in the office every.single.day! He sent me home early Monday so he could come in and study. Tuesday and Wednesday morning, he was in the office until I got here. You can believe I was Lysol spraying and Clorox wipes wiping every surface. He said his test was negative. "He knew it would be because he was showing no symptoms". He has not taken this virus seriously this entire time. My DH said he is not going to lose me to any virus or other disease, he is going to lose me to a stroke or heart attack due to how stressed I get with this person's laissez faire attitude and lack of caring for his congregation. No, he is NOT vaccinated and won't be. No, he DOESN'T wear a mask unless it is around certain people. Do I want to scream in the congregation how he is? You betcha! Do I really like this great salary I am making? Sadly, I do...
BUT enough of that, I don't think I will be on much in the next week due to my sailor being home!!! He's been underway for the last month. During that time, we lost 2 friends to Covid. One was his former GF's grandmother. I think I mentioned this in another post on here. So he is coming home to see her and the other friend that lost her dad. And his elderly pup. I think I will fit in there somewhere. This afternoon, though, I have to put together an Ikea sofa bed. Pray for me...

They'll then go to Resident Services and ask Tom. They'll come back to say they're disappointed but there's no room on your island. Unless.... unless you're willing to have someone leave. They'll offer a name. If it's someone you don't care about then just say yes and in two days the new one will be on your island. If they offer a name of a villager who you do NOT want to leave then immediately hit the "-" button, then X out of the game, and start over. Go back to the camper and try again. This can get old really fast but it will work in the end if you have enough patience. |

Hehe I like the new thread title! 😁 Missing everyone, missing playing, enjoy reading through the thread and watching what everyone is up too and how the bug hunting is going 😜🤪🪰🪳🦗 Sad that I just don’t have time/energy and work/life has been darn stressful lately however I have the upcoming week off so might look for inspiration and get a few things done on island. Honestly I feel like restarting again because I saw someone had their resident services perfectly aligned straight in front of their airport and I want that. LOL. We’ll see, maybe I’ll take a mindless day and haul all my newly acquired (again) stuff to my son’s island and reroll again....plus my island name is the name of local old folks home not far from where I work and I had no idea but of course now that I know that all I think of is and old folks home when I see my island name, hahahahah. Though maybe that’s a theme I should run with, hahahah.

Apparently there are some DIY you can't fly with anymore, but I believe they're ones you can purchase at some point, so it's not a terrible issue. ^.^ I miss when so many Peas were playing we couldn't all fit on the island that was open.. and net fights and people forgetting pants... /cackle |

I was shopping at Target this week and passed the electronics department (looking for a graphing calculator) and guess what I saw? A whole stack of Sanrio Collaboration Pack Amiibo cards. There must have been 15-20 of them hanging on the display. (I took a picture but don't know how to post)
Did they produce more and restock? Or are these the ones that were held and never sold? I asked for them in person at this Target back when they first were released and was told they were "out".

Morning everyone! It's been awhile but I picked my Switch back up this week some. My Island is a friggin' mess. Yikes.
I actually have access to a Treasure Island (unlimited trips) all day today.
I grabbed 2 extra sets of the 3 new Halloween DIYs to share. But if there's anything else anyway needs, please holler and let me know. This particular Island has all the new items from each of the releases going back to at least Christmas that I saw, all the Pirate stuff, all the DAL stuff, all the fishing/bug prizes, literally all the DIYs in the game, wedding stuff, birthday stuff, rugs, floorings, wallpapers, NMTs, all the NMT items from the kiosk in all color variations plus all the resources you could want (pearls, gold, wood, leaves, cherry blossoms, eggs, etc).
I don't mind grabbing stuff for people if there's things you need/want, even if it's just resources or NMTs/Gold, etc. Just let me know. I can also grab extras of the Halloween DIYs if more than 2 people want those.
