Aloha Peas! Its the beginning of July and we have another SheetLoad sketch. Here is the video youtu.be/izXIIDK9u-kProcess video youtu.be/eV4SQk6b8GkFor the bonus 10 points ,you need to create Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah or New Year's Eve cards. This sketch makes 12 cards if you count your points the easy-peasy way that is 120 points plus 10 points if you make them winter holiday themed, that is a total of 130 points. For every additional set you make you can collect 5 extra points. If you have any questions about the points don't hesitate to ask me. Let's get going with our Holiday cards! And don't forget to show us your creations. Tagging grammadee!

I just started cutting the paper for this and I really have a problem with it. I don't know if I don't like my paper choices i made or that I don't like this sketch. How does everyone feels about this sketch?

I'm not liking the little fold out on the front. I will adapt it to have a normal card base then the front part just as decoration.

I’m not a big fan of sketches in general, but I do look at them and think about joining in the challenge each month. Since you asked, I didn’t care for this one.

My set of cards. I changed up a few things and this works for me. The fold its at 1" instead of 1.25". I wrapped a ribbon around the folded piece and tied it in a bow, the CS2 is 11×2.75.this way the message size is bigger. The base is a pp instead of solid cardstock. http://instagram.com/p/CQ8zyNwpSNH

azcrafty, yours look really nice! This isn’t the first time that I didn’t care for her sketch or sample, but every time you manage to make lovely cards with a few tweaks!

I just printed out the sketch. I liked that it used patterned paper sizes that could be taken from 6x6/6x8 pads fairly efficiently. I guess I'll make a single card and see if I like it the way she did it or if I want to adapt it like azcrafty did (although I don't have such beautiful papers to use). I might end up doing something totally different once I get started. Or doing nothing at all like recent months... sigh. I keep forgetting to look for the mini slimline business envelopes too.

I love your cards, azcrafty. I wasn't very fond of the design this month, but I pulled out some Christmas paper that I knew I wouldn't use for scrapbook pages. By the time I finished I decided I really like the design. It's kind of fun to have something so different this month. Now I wish I had used brighter colors. I may decide to make another batch. Merry Christmas

These are great nylene. I like the muted colors and you did a great job with your paper choices they coordinate perfectly. And I'm with you, now that a done a set I don't hate the sketch anymore. I'm planning to make a New Year set .

That sentiment is really beautiful and perfect for the little offset semicircle.

Sheetload July 2021 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr Here are mine! I used Maggie Holmes Flourish. I copied azcrafty by using the PP as the background instead of cardstock. I don't love this design, but maybe its the papers I used?? I also would rather have a bigger spot for writing, so I would have made it so the "flap" is the bigger piece of paper in the back, and the front design just be a regular design instead of the flap, if that makes sense.

scrappyrabbit I like your colorful cards. Im always afraid mixing and matching pp, but you did a great job with it. I made my 'card' part a little bit bigger than the sketch and I'm ok with that. Will hold a small message but sometimes thats enough.

scrappyrabbit, I love your cards. You have a talent in putting patterned papers together. I struggle with that! I really like the variety of sentiments. That house paper is so cute!

Thank you 😊😊 I had some scraps and some papers already pulled from that collection, which is probably why I had such variety of patterns. I feel like I ended up with more scraps than I started with, though!

Loving the samples; they're gorgeous! I actually like this sketch a lot. I don't think I'll participate in the challenge, but I do plan to make some cards with the sketch. Thanks for sharing!

Have you guys seen the revised instructions for making 24 cards out of 2 sheets of 12x12? Minimal waste! I love it. She also used some suggestions from viewers and team members to make the whole process a little easier.

She also has a version using bee themed supplies that uses a fold up card on the front - gives a little more space for a message.

Everyone's card looks great! I didn't want to make 12 cards so I made one with her measurements. I will post it when I finish it. Love it!

Here is my sheetload of cards. My 12x12 paper was double sided, so I only made 12 with the improved cutting scheme. They did take me a bit of time, with all the steps: scoring, folding, twine tying, circle cutting..... I like them. They will be good for a quick hello or thanks.
