Each double page spread could count as a layout, or each side/page, depending on how you approached it/how detailed/hard it felt to make. If I just stick a photo on one side and a title and a few stickers on the other I would take that as one layout, but if it's lots of detailed work on both I might count each side as a small layout. Easy peasy would give you 15 points per spread, if I remember correctly - assuming it's a standard TN size. There may be other points you can stack on top of that. The other way I sometimes count stuff like that, esp if I'm not sharing the pages and it was quick design work but lots of pages, is to count it as hours of 'other crafts' - I do that with digital books that I'm basically just pulling photos into. 10 points per hour. In theory that should yield a similar number of points to counting the other way, but not always. Classic counting you would look at each page against the list of challenges and add up how many individual points you scored on each page, one by one Maybe I'll just take the other crafts points. That seems easiest and probably fairest. I worked about 7 hours on it. I never know if I should be fair and take lower points for "easy" stuff or try to take as many as possible! Grammadee will probably have thoughts when she has time to read this.

jeremysgirl, if it were me I would count each two pages as one spread and probably also if it were me take the easy peasy points lol. Do whatever will gain the most points is what I say! LOL! No making going on here yet - I seem much more in organize mode than creating. And now it's been so long since I scrapped that I have no idea how to even start again. I have lots of errands to run today, but I'm hoping tomorrow will be a chill day with lots of free time and I hope that translates to scrappy time too! I hope you all are staying comfortable! The heat in the West is troubling and I hope they catch a break and get some rain soon. But not a torrent! It's been pretty rainy here and not as hot as usual. I'll take that.

I was just messing around on scrapbook dot com, going through my wishlist and thinking about buying some new Doodlebug supplies... my favorite die cuts have been discontinued!! I missed out on buying more, at least from there. I guess I can probably find them being resold somewhere. And my most favorite Ella and Viv background paper that makes me look like I'm awesome at ink blending has been discontinued too. Luckily I still have about 5 sheets and some scraps left. But still a bummer.
I'm hesitant to buy new supplies even with that little fomo reminder because I'm not feeling very inspired to work on anything lately, but I also wonder if I'm not very inspired because I don't have anything exciting to play with.

I never know if I should be fair and take lower points for "easy" stuff or try to take as many as possible! Grammadee will probably have thoughts when she has time to read this. I say it is up to the individual, depending on preference and time. If I have time, for pages I prefer to count the points b/c it keeps me engaged with the challenges, especially if I count as I go, making me more aware of specific challenges going forward. Oh, and I count points per page unless the challenge says something about per project of LO. Most of the time I end up with more points that way, but not always. Even if its less, by the time I have added them up I keep the counted points. For cards, I tend to take Easy Peasy points. I have been scrapping, mainly b/c of a couple of play dates this month. Not feeling particularly creative, but have been helped by the kits I put together. Still have a couple of those kits yet to play with, and should get at least six pages out of them. Have also loved having printed photos to physically move around on a page. Sketches have been a big help: have already taken on four Sketchy Saturdays. I need to put a sample together for the sketch I found for this upcoming Saturday. That will make five, so I *need* to go back and find one I have yet to attempt and earn another bonus LOL. BTW if you like sketches, we need a couple more SKETCHtember hosts. As host, you are responsible for one day per week when you come up with a sketch, a twist, and (hopefully) a sample. If you are interested, please let me know.

Well I’m off making memories! Spent 3 1/2 days to finish prepping food and pack the motor home! Also set up the house sitter, etc. We will drive about 5000 miles, and camp with about 50k of our closest airplane friends at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh, WI. On the way we visited DSD and her BF, and did Seattle’s landmark the Space Needle. Now on our way via Glacier National park to Saint Paul, MN to visit SIL& BIL before Oshkosh. Several stops planned for the trip home in Denver& Salt Lake. So sorry I can’t really total points. grammadee I won’t be able to do the organizing post on 8/1. We’ll be home around 8/9.

angel97701 you have been on my mind a lot with the fires raging in Oregon. Your trip sounds amazing! If I liked camping, a motorhome would be the way I would go! Or cabins at each destination lol. Have fun I'm glad you are getting a break to play and get away! I have not been inspired for so long and as such nothing completed. Just a season of creative rest I guess. I'm sorry you're battling fomo joblackford . The struggle is real! I really have to stay off the enabling threads lol. I want to buy AC digitals now and I'm NOT a digi scrapper and have no intentions of ever becoming one LOL. grammadee I like the way you count the points. I got so used to easy peasy and not really staying engaged with the actual challenges. Maybe something in the challenges list will inspire me to play today! I have my page kits all ready to go and will pull one out tonight. I hope everyone is having a craftier month than I am!

How is everyone doing? Can you belive it is the 23rd? A month is like life: the first half seems to last forever, and then the further we go the quicker the days slip by... Got some pages together yesterday, all with those quick kits your challenge had me doing, joyfulnana. I overpack for crops, and the same goes for just a day with a friend to scrap. So I hadn't touched anywhere near all of my kits last week. My next project will have to be cards. Have a bunch that need making to be off in the mail early next week. Hmmm... I need 9 cards in all: can I make it a dozen to grab the 12-card challenge points? Need to check out this month's card challenges and the cardmaking board for inspiration. And your Flickr posts, joblackford. Got my Hero Arts kit with some extras, so that may be a possibility. Need to count up points again before they get away on me, too.

Just spent most of the day cleaning my scraproom and organizing my scraps... Not what I WANTED to do this week, but it was getting away on me.
Also, on Sunday, during the virtual crop, I accidentally dropped my jar die behind a 6-cube shelving unit. Today, I moved it out to retrieve my die (and a few other things that were hiding there). To do that I had to take stuff out of the unit. One cubby had a cloth bin filled with scraps from after a card making marathon a few months ago.
I already had a pile of scraps I had been collecting on my counter, then moved to the floor to make room for my ipad on Sunday. So I ended up sorting them, throwing a bunch away, and sorting the rest by colour. Took way longer than I thought it would when I set out. Oh well... organization points...

Argh, grammadee, I am sure that’s not how you wanted to spend your time… I hope it doesn’t derail your crafty mojo and actually makes your room more functional. I was hoping you would say you found some long lost die/supply back behind the shelves! I’ve been working on my in-progress piles. I got the extra piles turned into cards or put away, and now I’ve moved onto my WIP box. I did a quick sort and found some items I’d forgotten about. I moved them back to where I would look for them first. I found a ton of Christmas projects to work on so I started with the ones that were all but done and over the past two afternoons I actually finished them. Still feeling a little overwhelmed by how many unfinished projects I have on the go. I keep wanting to start something new but I need to get some of this stuff cleared away first or I’ll drive myself completely round the twist.

Hey team, how's everyone doing? I can't believe this month is essentially over and I scrapped not one thing *AGAIN* - it's becoming a trend. I don't like it lol. But it's time to start tallying up those points! I'll have to look over the challenges because there are surely points to be had by moving piles and shuffling papers around right? grammadee so sorry that your crafty time ended up being clean time. But hopefully that will inspire you. joblackford I get overwhelmed with too many unfinished projects as well - the piles just drive me crazy. I know I need to be super organized for We Create in September and I feel like I can't scrap until I have that planned out and ready to go. So I've been working on page kits for that this week. Once I know I have pages planned to cover those days I'll be able to relax and start scrapping again. And get back to the classes I've been working on. Too many choices! lol.

I feel like I can't scrap until I have that planned out and ready to go this is how my brain works too. I can't start fun new projects until I get these other things squared away. I hope you get that planning done. That's definitely organizing points. And there's a challenge for doing classes and another for watching YT videos. I need to look at my watch history and see how many points I've racked up by zoning out to crafty videos!

👋 team! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA for a good bit of this month. I just keep adding things to my plate and of course crafty stuff gets pushed to the side. I did visit one more scrap store in the shop hop and need to at least plan a trip to the two closest to me to be entered fro the grand prize. We are at my in laws lake house this weekend and I brought some supplies so hopefully I get motivated to pull those out tomorrow.

Hey team, don’t forget to look through your watch history on YT before you calculate points. I added a watch crafty YT videos “challenge” this month. I think I’m going to go rack up a few more points right now!

928 points for me. Almost all came from not spending, not creating, and trying to dig out my stuff from under the crud shoved in my scrap room. Taking next month off because I know I’ll have even less time with prepping for the start of school.

I made a bunch of digital photobook pages that I didn't share, watched a bunch of videos, and didn't go shopping, so 2080 points for me for July Thanks!
