PLurker love love that video! So precious. My previous golden was raised with cats and after we adopted him we visited a friend with cats and he was so eager to engage but wise too. He would gently nose one and then sit back quickly and by the end of the weekend they were sleeping together. Thanks for sharing! Thanks everyone for asking about my little guy. He's doing better, improving. When I feed him he rushes into the kitchen in a slide at home base. My little piranha can be very cute, especially when sleepy. Talked to my vet and he thinks it's due to his goat like tendencies trying to eat everything in the garden which he just calls being a retriever! He did prescribe medicine which I got at CVS pharmacy. He now has his own profile there. First dog for me to do that. I may buy some agility tunnels to distract him from eating everything he sees (rocks, leaves, sticks, bark, cucumber plants, squash plants, blackberry vines!) and to have some fun with him. Yesterday I visited Home Goods and bought quite a few chew toys to distract him from our body parts.:-) jeremysgirl you are so thoughtful to make the gluten free cobbler. It looks great. scrappintoee zucchini chips, whole wheat pasta etc. I just can't do them. I do like barilla protein plus pasta. That's as healthy as I will go on pasta. Used my instant pot for the 3rd time this week after opening it Monday (2 years after purchase). Anyone know any good sites for instant pot recipes? Off to search the pea boards.

Hoping for a change for your dd, @sunnycamom . And Marina , we love a dish I made a lot when I grew zucchini in Tucson, Calabacitas. Your dish sounds like that. If you have a recipe, I'd love for you to post it. My neighbor loves zucchini, even the zoodles (barf). I just make sautéed zucchini by slicing it hahaha! Dh has done a great job in the kitchen with an very unlevel floor, very bumpy walls, and with the laser level that dd gave him for Fathers Day, it's all going well now with cabinet installation. I've done a less than great job finding a sink and hardware. I finally got bored with the search for the lighting and turned that task over to dd. Sausage from the grill, asparagus, fruit salad tonight. Thanks for the thread. I know "to each her own," leannec , but I prefer cats with their fur intact. The good thing about that lion haircut is that there's less hair all over my black pants. All over them!

it is dh's birthday.. we invited over our son and wife, our two friends and another friend for 2 pm. it is now 4:15 and no one here yet.. but the giants baseball is winning. all food prepped.. impossible burgers, broccoli salad, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. dh is on the couch with his cast on. the gardener has been working all day in the backyard.
and all the food is vegan, because friends are vegan. I'm sure everyone will show... it is supposed to be relaxed party.

DSO and I spent all afternoon and evening out by the fire, and we ate a late dinner out there too. Bacon and egg roll for me, baked beans on toast for DSO.
I stayed up late (or should that be early?), until 2:30am watching Ash Barty win Wimbledon. Then I watched a bit of the replay of Dylan Alcott's Wimbledon win. Go Aussies!! 💚💛💚💛
After seeing the Royals in the crowd at Wimbledon, I ended up having a weird dream..... We were at the cricket and Prince Andrew was there. (But in my dream he wasn't disgraced.). My brother in law, in his shorts and thongs (flip flops) and tattoos, went up to Prince Andrew and said "G'day mate, how are ya?" They then spent the rest of the day together. After a while I thought I'd hang out with them too. I couldn't find my cigarettes, so Prince Andrew gave me one.
* IRL I haven't smoked for decades. This is the first time I've had a dream about me smoking for ages.

All over them! The only reason she gets a lion cut is because it gets quite hot in the house in the summer ... I don't have A/C - just fans ... she was suffering under her long hair ... it is all grown back by Christmas! It also gets rid of any mats that she might have developed ... I'm not great at brushing her

Everyone loved it! I thought it tasted really well. And his wife asked me for the recipe.

destined2bmom Thank you! @sunnycamom Thank you for the sites!! desertgirl I typically aim for lowfat so adjust the cheese and oil to taste. Here it is: Mexican Squash 2 medium zucchini, julienned 2 medium yellow summer squash, julienned 2/3 cup chopped onion 1-1/4 cup frozen corn 1 large jalapeno minced with a little of the white and seeds 4 garlic cloves, pressed or minced 2 oz grated sharp cheddar 4 tsp chosen avocado oil or use chosen spray can 2 T cilantro, chopped Salt and pepper to taste Pinch of cayenne pepper Couple of pinches of ground cumin Saute onions and pepper in some sprays of avocado oil for a couple of minutes, add pressed garlic, cook for a minute. Then add squashes. Once tender add corn and spray with oil. Add seasonings. Cook for a bit and then add cilantro and at the end the cheese.
