It was the first message board that I fell in love with way back in 2001. I joined 2 ps a couple of months later, but CKMB was really my first love and home for approx 6 years. I took a long much needed break from scrapbooking, and just started following 2ps faithfully a few months ago. I'm kind of shy so I didn't post much at 2ps, much to my regret. I am going to try to do my best to come out of my shell and be more of a poster opposed to a lurker! Would love to know if you were a member at CKMB, and if so, do you remember me?

Me! I was Snowhitetx on the CKMB. I migrated to 2Peas once that place started crumbling and never looked back. I had my own little mb on MSN communities for a while, but I really liked the big community atmosphere of 2 Peas. I remember all the Friday night chats, RAKS, and Swaps from the CKMB..miss those days.

I found CK MB first and they led me to the 2 peas gallery and it took me a bit to find out there was a message board there too!  I did both for a long time and then very rarely went back to CK MB. I was AngieinCo first and then when I moved back here in December 2003, I changed it to AngieinNM. I've always been AngieandSnoopy on 2 peas. |

I started there but didn't post much at all. I found a yahoo group of local scrappers via CKMB and still scrap with many of them today.

Yup. I hung out there for a few years and then I noticed that this gal 007 posted her layouts on 2ps. So I hung on both boards for awhile and then I started feeling like the CKMB was kinda goody goody. Like, they never said anything even mildly controversial and compared to the peas it seemed a illite fake. So I moved over to 2 ps on a permanent basis and never looked back.

I started out at the CK MB. I saw them mention the "veggie board" occasionally. I finally went over when someone posted an altered coinholder (remember those?) on 2peas and I went to check it out. I signed up, purchased a stamp set but did not return for a couple of years. Finally when CK changed their MB format the first time. I left for good, and never looked back.
ETA: I don't remember my user name, though. I don't remeber yours either OP.

I started I think at dmarie for a bit but went to CK... I used to talk to 007 ALL the time.. loved her style, she came over to 2peas and I don't know what went down but she left and I believe it was messy. I always got along with her pretty good... even emailed each other quite a bit.

I was a CKMBer for a long time before things changed several years ago. I started posting more on 2peas when I suffered a traumatic eye injury in 2010. The old "early birds" from 2 Peas have our own Proboards board. There's also a CKMB alumni group on Facebook if anyone is interested.
I'm friends with Kim (007) on Facebook...she's doing well and her girls are beautiful.

I was on CK and met one of my best friends IRL on that board. Lots of good memories. I think KelleeM (not sure if the same Kelee) sent me a RAK. It was a pair of tweezers for placing small embellishments that is still in my scrapbag today!

Me, too! I was mom_on_line then and when I went to 2peas became ToniW. I had changed it back to mom on line just before the change over to here but decided I like ToniW more now and the kids are all grown up anyway. I also remember alot of you from CKMB, too!

I joined CKMB before 2peas and had a similar user name to now. I wasn't a very active poster though. Funny you should bring it up because I was thinking about it a bit last week. I remember a few of the names mentioned above as well as Shar and Nickle (who I think is here)

I'm an oldie from CKMB too!! My username there was Msblowfish. I'm not sure when I migrated over to 2Peas but I think it was after one of the HOF gates.

I was there too! That's how I ended up at 2Ps. It moved a lot faster than CKMB. I remember 007 too, but I don't know if she's the reason I originally checked out 2Ps or not. Since we are all crediting her, I will too! I remember reading about Pea Soup and that's why I first went over to 2Ps. I *think* this was my username, but I honestly don't remember now!
