A lot of Peas seem to enjoy SKETCHtember, with a new sketch challenge popping up every day all month long with added twists and a prize for the finishers.
Who wants to help this happen? Each host takes a specific day of the week. As a host, your role would be to come up with at least four sketches, along with a twist for each, and a sample for each. A twist might be a physical twist, as in "turn the sketch 90 degrees to the right", or it could call for a specific colour, or product type or technique or theme. You could start working on your samples any time, as long as they are ready for posting the evening before "your" day.
We NEED one more host! And I would be happy if we had two more.
Whaddaya say???

schroema, care to host and share any of those cool Allison Davies sketches? If you have already completed your take, you could use that as a sample. If you want to play along you could include a twist that alters the sketch enough to make your new pages unique from the ones you have already done...

Poking my head in to encourage peas to consider joining the hosts!
1. don't worry if a sketch "has been used before". It doesn't matter - we won't remember.
2. don't worry if you want to use a layout example as a sketch - hey, that could be a "twist"...here's a layout, make your own sketch and use it!
3. don't worry if you want to do a card sketch or a TN sketch or an 8.5x11 sketch or a 1 page, or a 2 page sketch! They are all welcome. It's up to the users to interpret in their own style/size
4. if you only want to take on a couple of days, shout out! Someone else might want the other part of the assignment
5. the other hosts will happily help you with twists or inspiration if you need
It's really quite motivating to be a host - not only do I get that 1 day/week accounted for, but it gives me MOJO to complete the other sketches too.

This makes me nervous to commit to something this big but I'll do it. Since there's a month to find the sketches and/or create my own, I think I can do it. And I really, REALLY need to finish one of my travel albums so this will help me get going on that (hopefully LOL).

I am not interested in hosting, but I can't wait to participate!! I have so many photos that need scrapping and haven't been able to scrap at all this month. By the time September comes around, hopefully I'll be ready to scrap!

I will set up the group planning PM so we can all discuss which days, discuss ideas, answer any questions you may have. Watch for it before the end of this week...
