I think two - or four! - more rounds makes perfect sense, since each round contains fewer things, so is less overwhelming. With fewer things, we can better see that *these five things* are similar so maybe we’ll keep two. And in the next round after that maybe we look at those two and realize we never used them, don’t like them much, and can let them go too. It’s a gradual and positive process. I’ve done tons of purging in the whole house yet even in rooms where I’m so-called done, if I look with a fresh eye I may see more things to remove. Whether it’s because I missed them in a previous pass or because my level of caring has lowered or because a smaller number allows me to spend more time focusing doesn’t matter. It just feels good to let them go. Perfection is a curse word. No matter how many times I go through an area, there's always something I find to purge no matter how many rounds it has been. Less things usually now but still stuff is leaving. I purged my birthday folder (paper and stickers) this weekend - I made 30 cards, tossed the remaining scraps, and added the leftover stickers to my donation pile. I've been struggling to do birthday layouts because what I had left wasn't working for my photos so now I feel comfortable with buying a new collection (ok, two new collections) and hopefully feeling inspired again. And I'm looking at my other theme folders and thinking I ought to pull them out one at a time, figure out what I'll ACTUALLY USE, use it, and re-home/toss the rest. My kids aren't kids anymore (30, 21, and almost 15), some of the younger-themed stuff needs to either go on layouts, go on cards to donate, or leave Aside from being completely blown away by your 30 cards (!!!!) since I’m the slowest card maker on earth - and that’s 90% of what I make - yes, exactly. This week I grabbed a vase to donate that’s been on a coffee table for years. It hit me it didn’t add much. There’s a permanent donate box in the bedroom closet and in my craft room and they fill up even when not focused on decluttering. Especially the craft room, which does need to be purged and to some extent reorganized.

CardBoxer - don't be too amazed they are the simplest cards, nothing complex, time-consuming, or even especially creative

I am curious how this round robin works. One person started a bin full of discarded supplies. She posted on our group to see if anyone was interested in going through the bin to take items out or place items in. I was the first person on the list so I went through her bin, then added a bunch of my own stuff, then passed it on to the next person on the list. I'm not sure if it will go through a second time. It was an 18 gal bin stuffed full when I passed it on, so there is no telling what's gone in and out as it moves through the neighborhood.

I haven't had time to finish my purge and reorganization, but I've been thinking about the project and did pick up the 2 drawer insert for my Kallax at IKEA yesterday. My 5x5 Kallax holds 85% of my stash.

I'm still trying to find time to keep purging. I did put my Kallax 2 drawer insert together. The plan is to store all my punches in them. Whatever doesn't fit doesn't stay. I also finally purged my wood block rubber stamps. They are mostly for cards and I haven't touched them for at least the past 10 years. Safe to say they won't be missed.

since I finished my Disney album and have no more Disney left to scrap and no immediate plans to go to Disney - I went through my Disney drawer - tossed some stuff, pulled together some stuff for donation (including the album I originally bought back in 2009), and kept a very small selection because we do go to Disney Springs periodically.

I think I am pretty much done for now with the purging/reorganizing of my scrapbooking room. I didn't actually purge all that much, but what I did made a nice difference. Now if I could find the time and motivation to finally finish those school albums I'd have a lot of product and memorabilia finally gone!
