Saw this new Pinkfresh collection called “The Best Day” available for pre-order at ACOT. Still no sign of a Christmas collection, and the Pinkfresh website/blog doesn’t have The Best Day up on their site yet. I like some of the papers, but not a “must buy” for me, thankfully. It looks like it’s their Autumn collection, but I prefer last year’s Days of Splendor Pinkfresh Studio The Best Day Collection

I do like the multi-colored mini-alphas.

Yes, the alphas are fantastic! I like a lot of the collection, and some of it, not so much. I will probably pick up a few things.

The name of the collection was an immediate turn off for me and it's a Fall collection!? The colors are pretty. I'd almost prefer zero words in fall collections. How many grateful and thankful words can one use?
I am getting SEI vibes from this paper
I really like the yellows and blues in this line.

I have that SEI collection Most of my paper is SEI. I went to two of their warehouse sales and shopped at their store when it was open. I also have a ridiculous amount of stickers I need to use.

I like it! It's fall-ish but not over the top. Also, as someone who just moved, all the "welcome home" phrases and icons would be nice to have (for me) but I can see how that is also super limiting for others. That being said, I never buy new scrap products brand new/full price... so theres that. lol

It looks way too much like a generic Pinkfresh line for me. I absolutely loved Days of Splendor. It was glorious and refreshing for Pinkfresh. Colour scheme was so beautiful, too. This leaves me completely cold.
Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Let's hope their much-anticipated Christmas line doesn't disappoint!

I like it. Though it looks more like Spring to me. I put a few sheets in my cart

I've been really loving a lot of the collections pinkfresh have put out over the last couple of years but this one is a big miss. From the creamy coloured base to the papers and the florals that remind me of my grandmother's bed sheets, and the overdone motifs (seriously more glasses or bikes with flowers in the baskets?) I'm just not excited by this collection overall.
Those navy alphas though, those I love. I really wish they'd do those in that thin chipboard they use for their flair rather than puffy (yes, I know, totally unpopular opinion), and if I hadn't already scrapped so much of my childhood I might have gone for the chipboard flair.

I'm undecided. I do like the colours but I've been struggling with the PF papers - when dots are that widely spaced across the page, you can't use that pp for an effective photo mat, or even for an effective strip of pp because you only get 1-2 dots! Even the beautiful sketchy floral has so much white space that unless you use it for a large block you lose the print. I've even cut a 4" strip of pp, only to end up being unable to "read" the paper after the design in complete because I've covered key points with embellies or title.
I always love the alpha!
